There have been a few misconceptions regarding to Indra and Ashura that I felt I needed to make a thread about. Here's a few ones that i wanted to clear.
1. Some say Indra was more powerful than Ashura, and that Ashura needed others to battle against Ashura. NO.
This has been mirrored many times with Naruto. While Indra started with the advantage over his brother (sharingan, smarts, talent. aka Sasuke) and relied on his own power, Ashura wasnt gifted with that eventually with the help of others, and hard work, his power bloomed and was on par with Indra. (Naruto) Simple as that. They were equal in power, one through bonds and hardwork, the other, through natural talent and skill refined.
2. Some are saying Indra's Perfect susanoo is bigger than Ashura's "Bijumode." It is true. Indra's PS is indeed bigger.
If you have a eye to detail, you will notice that Ashura and Indra's bodies are drawn the same exact size. Now compare the powers. "bijumode" is shown in its entirety. And notice the small dents around it, signifies that Ashura is either jumping, or dashing at Indra, meaning Ashura had to jump up to strike Indra at the head of Susanoo. Now For Perfect Susanoo. Again, Notice that Ashura's and Indra's bodies are the same size, yet indra is just shown in the head of susanoo not the full body. If if you can draw the rest of susanoo from that image or just image it, you will realize that susanoo is at least three or four times the size of "Bijumode". PS head is round the same size as Ashura's "bijumode"
3. Ashura's "bijumode" isnt bijumode. That is his original chakra, just as Susanoo is to Indra. It resembles no tailed beasts, and the tailed beast were never have been said to be sealed in Ashura. Hagoromo wanted the beasts to be able to run free, it was until recent times where ninja began sealing bijuu into people. Besides that, Ahsura's chakra has no tails, but more like a cape. Those arent bijuu bombs because ashura wasnt a jinchuuriki. Those are omydugan or whatever they are called..the same things Hagoromo, Juubito and Madara have. Since he is a direct relative to the sage, it makes sense he can use them. Also, it explains why Naruto's bijuu mode looks different that every other host. Whenever the host goes full bijuu, thats what it is, the full bijuu is out. But when Naruto does it, his chakra forms into kurama. Or should I say, Ashura's chakra forms into kurama. It could be because the bonds of the bijuu are what activate Ashura's powers. Without all 9, his power wont awaken. So instead Of Naruto being Bijumode, or Bijuu sage mode, it should be Ashura mode. Ashura Bijuu Mode, or Ashura Sage Mode, Ashura Bijuu Sage mode, ect.
