Does anyone like Naruto and Sasuke?

Neither of them are even in my top 10 pages. It affects my enjoyability naught.
As long as someone's scene is exciting, i could care less if i like them or not. There's only 1 character i actually hate anyway; everyone else who isn't in my top 5 are neutral to me.

I used to like Naruto more,i am starting to warming up to current Sasuke aswell.
I feel like that both of them receive undeserved hate for lots of wrong reasons in the base tho.

Fair enough but if characters are neutral to you, if people fight, who do you go for? It's like watching a game without taking sides.

I love Naruto, and I like Sasuke. My liking's for Naruto are greater than Sasuke, but I certainly don't hate Sasuke. Sasuke just traveled down the wrong path, for a very good reason. To him, his brother murdered his whole clan. Like, If I were Sasuke, I would be like "WTF?" and probably go down the same path. People should look at things from different perspectives. I think the show is enjoyable more for people whom like both characters, rather than hate one over the other:

If they hate Naruto: Well.. they have to see him in almost every single episode. Not to enjoyable if you hate that character.
If they hate Sasuke: Like I said above, when he's in the episodes you'll probably despise watching him. Although, if Sasuke gets the crap beat out of him, the viewer who hates Sasuke would be happy, right? Ya.
If they like both: Perfect. You love watching Naruto, and when Sasuke comes into some episodes, you'll surely get excited and happy to watch.
If they hate both: Well... you shouldn't! The series would certainly be less enjoyable. :C hehe.

Naruto is my top favorite, and I don't mind Sauske in contrast to him. I think the manga would be boring and pretty cliche (more so) if it had sauce as the main protagonist.

Besides the fan boys most people do like both characters to some degree, its just that those will no lives and or social grace seem to like to preach about their favorite in such a way as to put down others. Most people dislike this, some practically worship these kinds of people, which really gives them more than enough attention to make it seem like this is how things are everywhere.

Look hard enough (or not at all) and you see the Ultra-fan-boys (not to be confused with just a regular fan of a character). They make completely bias comments, then you will see the minnows piggybacking on their notoriety, with comments like "Soandso Just soloed this thread /thread GG" (Even tho they really said nothing but a simple dismissal or regurgitated what was already said)then proceed to lament their favorite icon in hopes they will get put on their signature. Empowered by the attention and the lackeys they continue to bash and spread unrest...

Really its an exasperating cycle... Normal, good folk don't have the time for this kind of behavior.

Sasuke's fanboy's are the reason why I couldn't bring myself to like him... It was only after I left te base for FFN did I actually start to appreicate his character and look deep enough to actually sympathize with him.

OT:

I love, love, love Naruto. I'll admit to him being my top favorite character of all time (no guys, I don't know why that is). I had trouble liking him when I first saw the series, but his personality and character grew on me and by the time of the Chunin Exams, I was rooting for him all the way.

Sasuke was a character I always disliked and disliked even more because of his fanboys. After a while, I started to come around and I do like him a bit more, and he places around 15 in my personal favorite characters in Naruto.

I can't say I love/like them equally, but I do certainly like them both.

Exactly. I don't take sides.

In sasori vs sakura's fight, I watched, enjoyed but didn't care who would win. I wouldn't be phased anyway.
Same with deid's fight against sasuke, sasuke's fight with kages etc. I watch and enjoy. If there's actually some utter PNJ bs(like naruto vs Pain) then i'm displeased with the fight. If every fight one character has had is either boring or BS then I just start to dislike every showing of this character because it's a waste of a week for me.

I dislike them both. Both of their personalities, decision making, and behavior pisses me off... Less so in Part I though. I actually liked them for majority of time.

Sasuke's fanboiz though... are like zealots x1000.

I like them both very much, but favor Sasuke bc I find him much more interesting. I see both their strong points and flaws. Naruto annoys the hell out of me with his messianic complex, but every time I re-watch episodes or re-read chapters this guy has me smiling from ear to ear. It has also been amazing to look back on his progress over the past 672 chapters. And even though it annoys me, I understand the messianic complex is what makes Naruto Naruto. It's what makes him unique. Same with Sasuke. If you run down the list of things he has done, yea, he sounds like an *******, but that's what makes him so great. He accomplishes his goals at any cost just like Naruto and simply does what he wants. He does what's right in his eyes and walks his own path and that's that. What's wrong with that? Ppl say Tobi and whoever else manipulated him, but I say HE ALSO USED THEM. It was a fair exchange. He got knowledge and power. Then he discarded them and rightfully so. As for wanting to destroy the village, yea I cringed a little, but I also understood where he was coming from. It's complex and that's what makes it so great.

Naruto's my fave, but I don't hate current Sasuke. He's pretty good ATM. However, I despised MS Sasuke.


It does effect how I like the series. I like to see Naruto's struggle in having his best friend be his greatest enemy. Kishimoto better make them fight!

If you're wondering about conflicts between fans, I have no problem with opinions........ as long as they're founded and logical. Most trolls are from the Sasuke fanbase, so you can imagine how that interacts with my personality that gets irritated when I think something's stupid.

Sasuke fans that are like lawd-sasuke-solos-hagoromo are not bad I take it as slapstick comedy but Sasuke and naruto fans for that matter that bash the other character without good reasoning irks me a lot and aren't welcome.
