Does anyone like Naruto and Sasuke?

Hi all
I have realized that people are polarized in terms of whether they like Naruto or Sasuke as one of their favourite characters.

Do people tend to have Naruto and Sasuke as one of their top 5 favourite characters or do people only have one of them, or neither?

My second question is whether or not YOU think it affects how much you enjoy the series. Does a person who loves naruto and hates sasuke or vice versa, or hates both, enjoy the series as much as someone who loves both characters?

Naruto and Sasuke have a great rivalry, because they are so even compared with other shows like dbz. Goku is stronger for a majority of the series and vegeta even admits it at the end, hence rivalry extinguished.

So imo if you watch dbz but not like vegeta it's ok coz he doesn't have a big impact after the android saga but sasuke is still very much prominent due to him being a reincarnation of Indra, and coz he acts as a rival as well as a motivator for naruto. I think you will enjoy the series more if you enjoy watching naruto and sasuke instead of just one or neither.

I don't dislike any of the characters in Naruto more than the next.

But nowadays, you can't even say who your favs are without someone accusing you of being a fanboy.

That shows your better off picking a fav that's not Naruto/Sasuke/Itachi/Madara.

I like Sasuke and dislike most of the Naruto fans. I have no problem with Naruto because I used to like him in part one. Shippuden turned him into a Child of Prophecy deranged obsessive idiot over some boy that couldn't give any phucks over him. The fans are the problem as Naruto fans get cocky and think they can say what they want and expect everyone to agree with them. I hear people say: "This forum is called Narutobase, so you should like and respect the character Naruto or, the name of the show is called Naruto so he is the strongest ninja ever, and all that bs. I like Sasuke because I prefer someone that chases after his goals and ambition instead of the other guy over here who chases after some boy. Whether I dislike Naruto or not is not going to effect me reading this manga. The fans are the real problem as apposed to Naruto himself, although Naruto has been annoying and inconsistent throughout all of Shippuden.

I love both characters ... Both have their drawbacks though ..if u cant see it its not worth reading naruto manga ...

I really like them both, but it's because of fans Naruto fans and sasuke fans that i have a little hate on them both. I might like Madara much more than the main protaganists.

Naruto & Sasuke is like Yang and Yin, respectively. I like them both for their unique personality, design, background, etc...

Naruto has goals and ambitions. It was established that he wants to become Hokage and be acknowledged by his entire village.

For Naruto, to become Hokage means becoming strong, taking no shortcuts and saving his best friend. Up to the Pain Arc, these were his only goals.

Now it's to save the world, end the cycle of hatred, and become Hokage.

I am not a huge Sasuke fan but i like him.
I don't like Naruto much.

I used to not like either about a year ago, but i am Warming up to Sasuke.
I did not rate characters much before forum but during Hebi days he would be in top 10 faves for me. MS made him look like a retard but he is recently being better for me.
