What Naruto did was actually extremely cruel

The way I see it, Guy's body is essentially pure carbon at this point. He was burned to the point of no return essentially. It makes logical sense for the body to naturally die just before his body turned to ash, which is how it was slated to be.

But for Naruto to come by and give Guy chakra without restoring his body.... its damn cruel if you ask me. Now Guy is potentially fully aware of his state and feeling the full effects of the pain, if he's conscious. If he dies he simply has a few moments to live. If he lives he will never be the same again. If Kishi goes ahead and saves Guy, he's likely doing it so Guy can fully pass on his knowledge and techniques to future generations.

or

You just said he's not gonna leave him like that yet your option B) does just that.... it leaves him like that. Either way, yes perhaps Sasuke can bring him back to normal or reasonably normal.

Do you remember that Naruto not only has some of the best chakra modling ability but has the full power of Kurama which has been shown to heal peoples body in miraculous speeds. Not only that he now seems to have the full power of YANG from which i seen when he had the Yang half of Kurama was basically full of life itself. So I am sure that NARUTO not only brought Gai back from an inch of his death but also started to restore his body which I believe was happening when there was a spider mark spreading out from his heart chakra.

Let me break it down. What Naruto did, was basically the equivalent of giving him a sensu bean. he is gonna make a FULL recovery. Ashura and Indra are opposites. Hence, Hashi and Madara are opposites. Hashi had self recovery, Madara had destructive power. And because naruto is now more than likely using ashura's power, he more than likely gave guy uber healing powers.

Not only that. Think about this: would kishi have naruto give life to guy if he was going to make guy live with a destroyed body? We are talking about care bear kishi here...

It's using chakra to heal him,he wouldn't be able live without it I can't believe the assumptions people make after seeing one panel that Naruto would give him chakra without healing his body my guess is he has a power now like or greater than Tsunade but that's a theory. Well I don't think the Sage would've given Sasuke the power up he did if he thought Sasuke was going to go destroy the world afterwards.

I thought it was kind of cruel too. If he has the same powers Hashirama had, he can only heal himself. If he is using yang release he can only breathe life into him and Sasuke would have to use yin release on him to finish the job. That's a pretty big assumption to make since Sasuke probably doesn't care about Guy. He didn't even want to stop for Hashirama when he wanted to give him chakra. Hopefully Guy is past pain because if he isn't that was cruel.

Considering how his foot disintegrated, he probably won't be able to move due to risk of crumbling into ashes until someone heals him.
