The fact that they're grabbing different parts of the staff and have different symbols spread on their side symbolizes yin and yang. Now, this chapter, we've seen directly that their hands have the same tattoos, further symbolizing their buff is on one side of the equation only.

As Hagoromo has already said, it requires both Ashura's and Indra's chakra to achieve Hagoromo's chakra in order to receive the rinnegan.

The fact that Sasuke's power up is clearly portrayed as purely yin, this means he has not achieved rinnegan, which is yin+yang. However, what we will see for him is probably sharingans like Kaguya's sharingan and the "gruesome power."

So in all likelihood, he probably will have infinite tsukyomi(but on small scale) and the ability to bring shape out of nothingness. Although I have to wounder what the limits Kishimoto is going to put on this power.

You're way to angry with a premise of a thread. He said that he'd give him his power, yet it's clearly portrayed that Sasuke's getting a moon tattoo, aka yin, the opposite of Naruto's. If it were rinnegan, he's have moon+sun, but he clearly does not, so that wasn't the power that the sage was referring to. In all likelihood, it's his yin power that he's talking about. He did say that Indra inherited his good chakra genes, so it may be the same context. Whatever it is, he's clearly not getting it now.

It could have only been done when the transmigration was in progress, but Hagoromo just said that it's over for Hashirama and Madara, so Ashura's chakra is not present, and it will not create a rinnegan for Sasuke.

So wait, why would he tell Sasuke specifically that he's giving him HIS power, when he gives the same thing to Naruto?

Sasuke was obviously chosen for a distinct seperate power up, which is most likely the Rinnegan because that would both fit the theme of his continuous eye-powerups and "The Sage's Power".

It was never once stated in the manga that Hashirma died before Madara. Senjus inherited the body of the sage like the Uzamakis, and the Uzamakis have unnatural life-spans, so this could also apply to Hashirama, who has the strongest body out of all the senju or Uzamaki so far. Madara awakened it at the end of his lifespan, and Hagoromo said that the transmigration for them is over, so that doesn't change anything.

There is no proof of that. Needless to say that hashirama died long before madara got rinnegan.

I guess ashura's presence stays forever with his new reincarnated selfs.

Naruto also suplied sasuke with kyuubi chakra, but as far im concerned in BM he mixes his own into it, thus sasuke would have new ashura's chakra from here.

Meh, it's still 50/50. Juubito and Rikudo madara also have 1 side of the equation(juubito has the sun half of the staff, while madara has the moon) yet they both have rinnegan and a piece of rikudo power. Sasuke did get some chakra from hashirama after all; It's still possible, that even though ashura transmigrated, a piece of his chakra still lingered in sasuke, which is now mixing with his indra chakra.

In any case, rikudo said his power is what creates the rinnegan. Since he gave them both a new power from his own power, it's still likely that they can evolve a rinnegan.
