2: Flesh is not the same as bones. I severely doubt Neji's ability to transfer chakra through Kimimaro's bone skeleton to harm his chakra system or organs. The gentle fist doesn't deal with bones directly, it bypasses them.

The bones growth is accelerated by chakra, if I recall.

he uses chakra to control where and how he grows the bones. however, the bones themselves are not naturally chakra resistant. otherwise you could use your limbs to block gentle fist blows instead of redirecting them or avoiding it altogether

Kimimaro's bones have shown to endure the Samurai's own chakra sharpened blades, albeit with taking some damage [

the chakra at that point isnt being channeled through his bones. but through their blades as a sharpening tool.
