Similarities Between Minato and Itachi? why is it mos favourite matter of discussion?

The main similarities between those two is honestly giving Naruto (BM) and Sasuke (EMS) powers and factoring as one of the prominent people in their lives. Other than that, I remember that stemmed off as comparison of their actions. But I have no idea why it's being discussed the most.
