you need chakra of indra in other words sasukes dna and combine with ashura's (naruto's dna) to unlock the rinnegan, not some sharingan or uchiha dna..

Hagoromo chakra = rinnegan. Ashura+Indra = Hagoromo chakra

Naruto getting is the Hagoromo's chakra directly from Hagoromo himself, which will unlock the rinnegan in both naruto and sasuke

Yeah, I made a thread about that one, if you think about it, both of them would get the rinnegan. But it'd be better if Naruto would have a different power but would equal that of the rinnegan's.

You interpreted Hagoromo's words in a fallacious term. The context is how Indra's and Ashura's Chakra have been passed down to their descendants. For example:

Indra > Uchiha naturally and genetically gain the Sharingan. A trademark of Indra's Dojutsu that can only be awaken by his Chakra.
Ashura > Senju naturally and genetically gain massive supplies of Chakra and powerful body. A trademark of Ashura's power.

Uchiha and Senju hold possessions of their ancestor's powers. Receiving DNA from their blood is same way as receiving Chakra from Indra and Ashura, because their Chakra is passed down to them. Therefore, Rinnegan is awakened by fusing the Uchiha's and Senju's DNA together.​

Also, your implication would make everything Hagoromo said about the Rinnegan and transmigration redundant. Madaras statement isn't completely wrong though, however, it isn't really right either.


And the source of the Sharingan is a special chakra of the brain. That's not Indoras chakra.

Kekkai Genkai that is passed down purely through blood contains the ancestor's Chakra signature. E.g:

1- Sasuke gained Itachi's Chakra by the fusion of EMS.
2- Madara gained Hashirama's Chakra by infusing his DNA.
3- Kabuto gained the sound ninja's Chakra after undergoing modifications [

Obito and Danzo did not awaken Hagoromo's Chakra is because they lacked the Rinnegan. Rinnegan brings out Hagoromo's Chakra. Not combination of Uchiha and Senju. No, Hagoromo's sentence and Madara's sentence are the same on the context. It's people who are interpreting incorrectly. Sharingan originated from Indra, and Uchiha inherited his blood, thus giving them his Chakra.​
