Also why is the right part of her arm so weirdly blurred?

6/10 nice lighting and finishing but you kinda are relying too much on the brushes to bring out an artistic effect.

You should really finalize your work before putting it out there.. But it's ok, not bad but not excellent.

Abstract brushes and some light smudging IMO works great for Avatars

Of course, i'm just messing around with photoshop, following instructions and missing the important thing of avatars, the flow. Although my friend sent me another tutorial so i'm going to give it a try
