Jiraya was 1 of my favorite Character and i miss him
That stuppid Pain Must have to kill him That stupid *******. But Naruto gonna kill hem
then it is he's own foult. but its sad that it gonna go fault, if naruto and sasuke gonna fight
and thy gonna die the same time (people say that O_O)

Jiraiya was a crucial part of the series and his presence will be sorely missed, I believe he was at full power but the differential lies with his lack of knowledge of Pein's six paths otherwise he could of possibly destroyed the Rinnengan.
However with him being my third favorite cha. second to Naruto and Pein "sorry" i was lightwieght broken up I really did cry inside after reading the manga epeisode.
Jiraiya could possibly be back in spirit or even alive altogether I mean take a good look at Madara can anyone tell me how the hell that peice of @#@% lived huh can you?

Great charachter, sometimes they need to kill a good charachter to keep it exciting. otherwise it just becomes a fairytale, and Naruto becomes hokage and lives happily ever after. Nobody likes predictable stories. Jirayia sacrificed himself for the good of the manga. RIP gallant pervert.

Yes, I miss Jiraiya. Should he have lived? I don't think so. The message that was trying to be sent was this: it was time for Naruto to grow up and for Jiraiya to pass on the mantle to his apprentice. There was no better way for him to die...to die fighting.

Jiraiya was my tied for first favorite character in the series. I'll miss him when I get to the part in the anime show. So he's not dead to me yet yay! I'll probably break someday and start reading the manga since i get tired of waiting for the show to be updated.

not really. i never really liked him very much, except some very rare scenes, he was just too much of a fool. actually he died better than he lived.
i miss itachi, because since his death sasuke lost his sanity, and for the story itachi was much more important than jiraya.
i think that it's good that he died, who nows weather naruto would ever get sm if jiraya didnt die.

This is win. He did train up some of the most badass ninja's around. Not to mention he went out like a ninja should, fighting back from death on shear will in order to send out a message to help his village.
