Itachi never tried to kill his brother. Sasuke was always weaker than Itachi, Itachi could have killed sasuke in all fights between them and chose not to. His goal was not to kill him, but to make him strong and for him to avenge the killer of his clan and make him a hero. Never did Itachi try and Kill the brother he loves so much. Itachi always protects his brother, and even now protects him with his Magnificent eyes.

Well I think you are right and wrong. Right that Madara WAS the Incarnation of Indra As Hashirama was the incarnation of Ashura....But they both died so those spirits were reborn in Naruto and Sasuke. Sure Madara is alive again, but that spirit has since left his body and now he is just an Uchiha bent on Subjagating the world.

People seem eager to jump to this conclusion.
But considder this.

Clearly Madara was the incarnation of Indra during his lifetime.
But when he died, i reckon the spirit eventually moved to Itachi, not Sasuke.

Itachi was a true genius.
Excellent skill at a very early age.
Unmatched analytical skill and adaptation.
Youngest ANBU to ever enlist.
Mangekyou Sharingan, Amaterasu, Tsukyomi, Susanoo WITH Yata Mirror and Totsuka Blade.
The list goes on and on and on.

And all of this, gained by nothing but himself.
A true genius, and well rounded ninja, just like Indra.



Sasuke in his current state is also very good, but he gained a LOT of his powers with help from others over the years.
Itachi just fit's the bill a lot better.

And it cant be both, since when Sasuke was born, Itachi was still alive, so he could not have been born with the spirit.

Itachi can't be a reincarnation of Indra, unless you think Itachi believed that power was how things got done like Indra which is false, Itachi even told Naruto not to do things himself or he'll become another Madara (Tobi)

Madara was most likely an Reincarnation and it passed on to Sasuke, Sasuke is the one who's been compared to Madara, not Itachi. Part one is Sasuke craving power and Shippuden he wanted more power all for his goals to make what he wants to happen happen. Itachi was not like other Uchihas, him and Shisui were different for the others, they put the village over their clan and pride and that doesn't fit the Indra the Sage described.

Agreed about Title meaning.
Just because Naruto meet Hagoromo inside his mind.
Then Indra must be also reincarnated to someone at same time.
And then there will have more then one Hagoromo.
But Hagomoro "transmigrate" do not mean he could "Kamui" from one person to another.
Hagomoro "transmigrated" from one person to another for certain period, by staying inside and see the changing world.
Hagomoro was already inside Naruto mind, else how did he knew what Naruto was doing, just like his son, Ashura.
This was similar to bijuu world, only for Jinchuriki with the bijuu.
