Was people afraid of attacking Konoha when Minato was the 4th Hokage?

I was just wondering that was people afraid of Minato during the time he became the 4th Hokage?
I am talking about each village and people around who really wanted to make a war, but couldn't because of Minato's will.

So, was there anyone who wanted to attack the leaf except Obito? What about Danzo, Oro and others?

I think the cloud and stone villages were the only ones who new how dangerous Minato was since they fought him.

People were afraid of him long before he became the Hokage, he had flee on sight orders against him after all.

I think it's likely that most of the opposing villages chose not to engage in direct war with Konoha, especially with Minato still around. They had lost too much during the Third Shinobi World War and the chances of actually winning were slim anyway.

Danzo and Orochimaru probably realized that too. Although they wanted to become the Yondaime Hokage, Minato would have been a troublesome opponent. If they had managed to assassinate him, they would have to deal with Hiruzen and the entire Leaf shinobi forces afterwards, making their efforts redundant since they would not be supported by the public.

So in a sense, Minato's reputation was enough to deter people from attacking but I think the previous war is also responsible since those involved did not have many forces left to attack with.

this. i think no one attacked because of jiraiya and and pain and tobi was to scared of itachi to attack the leaf
and the leaf had the 2 strongest clans uchiha and hyuga

They still had a whole Uchiha clan

They had a former Kage Hiruzen (who wasn't old)

Kakashi and the anbu etc.

Sure, if you are talking about Minato and Hiruzen and other leaf shinobis then I agree that they will destroy the Akatsuki.
