You do realize that neither Madara nor Obito were his senseis, right? He just told Sasuke that story to give an excuse as to how he knew Tobi and wanted to tell Sasuke the story about Izuna and Madara, so that later on when Sasuke would become blind, he would know to take Itachi's eyes and acquire EMS. If anything, Fugaku/the academy taught him some basic things and he may have taken a few pointers from Shisui.

Ok. I am not an Itachitard, nor do I really approve of this thread. It is a wank thread, and those are annoying. However, I must point out that Sasuke as of this year is way way more overrated than Itachi has ever been and you can see more wank threads daily on this forum for him, more than you do for Itachi.

All I am going to say is, no Itachi never went all out when he was alive. You said that since he used amaterasu, that means he went all out. He wasn't planning on injuring Sasuke that badly and therefore held back. Amaterasu burns very slowly and as we saw he turned it off. He just wanted Sasuke to waste chakra so that Oro would come out, that was a part of what he wanted like you said. At the beginning of the fight, Hebi Sasuke attacked one of Itachi's crow clones and stabbed it. He had no idea that it wasn't the real Itachi, until the clone pointed towards where Itachi was really sitting, which was the throne. If Itachi were serious, while Sasuke were stabbing that clone, he would have just taken a shuriken and thrown it at Sasuke's head from where he was sitting. Then the fight would be over in the first 40 sec. But like you said once again, Itachi was not aiming to kill Sasuke. Does that really bother you so much? It's not an opinion that Itachi never went all out in this manga, it's a fact. In the Kabuto fight, he couldn't kill Kabuto and had to protect Sasuke. When he stabbed Nagato, Naruto and Bee were there from the beginning. That and to top it all off, Edos are not brought back at full power. We won't ever see him going all out. But if it makes you feel any better, obviously now Sasuke>Itachi in power.

if he could defeat chibaku tensei himself, he would have done it

he didnt ask for help when he decided to seal nagato

against kabuto his concentration is divided into 2 which is to beat kabuto and to protect sasuke.

Your reply wasn't directed towards me, but I just felt the need to state a few things.

He didn't ask for help to defeat Chibaku Tensei. Naruto actually asked him what to do, and Itachi told him the way to stop it. Then both Bee and Naruto joined in. It was never a 1v1 fight to being with. Therefore, we'll never know if Itachi had the means to stop the attack on his own or not.

Yes, Kabuto said he wouldn't kill Sasuke. But he was willing to still hurt him and even attempted to do so in order to mess with Itachi. Therefore, that doesn't really matter.

Yes, Itachi did ask for help after he sacrificed himself to protect Sasuke due to having the capability to do so (He's an edo that feels no pain & can regenerate, why wouldn't you?) and a second time after he weaved the hand signs for Izanami.

Sasuke was helpful when he gave Itachi info in that fight. U_U

Hmm. No, quite sure that Obito mentioned something about Itachi having a lover prior to the massacre, which in that context would mean that lover was someone who he had no sexual relations with and was supposed to have an arranged marriage with later on and that Fugaku picked out. Itachi wasn't into men. He just died from plot disease.

sasuke never needed any help or protection. itachi wasted his time and got damaged for no reason which gave kabuto a chance to win the fight and war. itachi put the entire wolrd in danger to save one person who wasnt in danger.this is how incompetent itachi is in battle.

sasuke is just a burden in that fight.

Maybe he could pierce the CT ball with his Totsuka but the problem was that all of them couldn't aim properly during that time. It needed their simultaneous strongest attacks to destroy the CT.

That may be impressive if Sasuke was even near Itachi's league to begin with, but he was weaker than armless Orochimaru and got smacked around by Bee and the Gokages. Sasuke also used more jutsus than Itachi.

Itachi AND Kisame fought 3 Jonins. Kakashi fought Itachi fairly evenly while protecting Asuma and Kurenai, but mistakenly thought the Sharingan was resistant to genjutsu.

Orochimaru was dying and had no killing intent, he was just trying to take Itachi's body and Itachi resisted. Sasuke did the same thing.

Deidara was a pre-teen and didn't know anything about Itachi or the Sharingan, while Itachi knew everything about Deidara, and Deidara was forced to fight inside of a small building so he couldn't use his preferred style of fighting.

That was a lie told by Obito.

Obito told Sasuke that Itachi wasn't supposed to leave Sasuke alive, but did anyway and warned Danzo not to hurt him.

Truth is that Danzo convinced Itachi to attack the Uchiha in order to keep Sasuke safe from the resulting war.

Danzo also isn't afraid of Itachi since, when Sasuke joined Orochimaru, Danzo put out a hit on him.

P.S. Jiraiya and Itachi are equals.

you cant overrate him if the only battle he lost was to sasuke in a weaken state and he wasn't trying to kill him. itachi is the solo king for a reason

That logic makes no sense.

First of all, Itachi's condition is negligible since Itachi was planning on taking a dive; he could had been healthy, it wouldn't had effected the outcome. Speaking of which, his condition was a result of MS, so it doesn't really matter anyway.

Secondly, how does losing to Sasuke hype Itachi??? That doesn't make sense.
