lol Akainu reasoning with Kuzan? Just lol.Just face it Akainu > Kuzan.
If anything I rarely see people state Akainu is much stronger in fact I see people stating Kuzan is stronger more often than not, It seems to me Akainu was just a better fighter. Granted the fight lasted 10 days but we have no idea what happened for all we know Akainu might have tried to reason with Kuzan and tried to talk sense into him as the loss of an Admiral would affect the Marines and the world Government.
The fact that Akainu let Kuzan live shows me Akainu wasn't trying to kill Kuzan and significantly held back in the fight.
Anyway the answer to your question 'if' a round 2 happened Akainu would win again.
I think you have this the other way around.lol Akainu reasoning with Kuzan? Just lol.
....cant read? I think you should be quoting the other guy.I think you have this the other way around.
Akainu would never bother trying to reason with anybody in the first place. But Kuzan on the other hand, that sounds just like him to do that.
I can read fine, I just misinterpreted your words.....cant read? I think you should be quoting the other guy.
I was mesmerized by your sig. Much respect to you.Kizaru is heavily underrated. People think that just because Akainu and Aokiji were nominated for fleet admiral they are stronger than Kizaru
Eh why would he? It was stated Kuzan gave it his all because he didn't want Akainu to become the fleet Admiral and it's been well shown that Akainu would use words in order to get his way, take Squardo for example and provoking Ace into turning around. Akainu sparing Kuzan also shows that he wasn't trying to kill him even going for injuries like taking off legs shows he was trying to immobilize Kuzan.lol Akainu reasoning with Kuzan? Just lol.
This the same person who attacked Luffy just because of his blood ties, I highly doubt he's the reasoning type. They're just neck and neck, (pause).Eh why would he? Akainu has been portrayed to be the overall strongest and most cunning Admiral, so him trying to reason with Kuzan doesn't seem that implausible.
Thats the issue we can't be making what ifs to meet our own power scaling, from what we have been given they are pretty much equals. Akainu is not someone who would hesitate one bit, he is one of the most straightforward personalities in the show. I could see him saying something like, "Id rather not have to do this, but since you're so willing to die I'll grant that to you". But we should leave the fanfic for the fanfic. People saying Akainu must have cheapshotted aren't any better than people saying Akainu spent some time reasoning with Aokiji, what you're doing is matching the facts and twisting them to meet your own powerscaling of Akainu > Aokiji. Akainu held back you say? That's ridiculous, did you not see Aokiji's leg? Or rather you probably didn't see it cause its not there anymore.Eh why would he? That was my point if people can say Aokiji tried to reason with Akainu why couldn't Akainu do the same thing? He spared Aokiji so there must have been a reason for that. Also with the fact it was Aokiji's leg had been took off doesn't necessarily mean Akainu was going for the kill since taking off a leg seems to me anyway more of an attack that would immobilize and opponent rather than killing them.Thats the issue we can't be making what ifs to meet our own power scaling, from what we have been given they are pretty much equals. OT:
IMO I think the difference was Akainu's perseverance, I'm not gonna go as far as to say cheapshot, but Akainu probably used something so minor to his advantage (he's the anything goes in a fight type of guy), to tilt the battle in his favour. I doubt it is something unfair....there is no such thing in a death match. In the end it would be Aokiji's fault not to be on guard.
Also at the people crying Lava > Ice. This is Oda's world Fvck Logic.
Exactly Akainu beat Aokiji after a climate changing 10 day fight. Nothing indicates either were holding back. That is pretty much it.That was my point if people can say Aokiji tried to reason with Akainu why couldn't Akainu do the same thing? He spared Aokiji so there must have been a reason for that. But I agree speculation on what actually happened in the fight is basically everyone one just shotting their own opinions in the only real cold hard facts we have about the fight was that Akainu won.
