Castiel walks up to his student, Castiel is wearing his infamous cream coloured trench coat.

"Hello, my name is Castiel and what is your name?"

Sinbad listens to Castiel speak, and ponders on the questions asked. Sinbad thinks to himself... what is a ninja? He takes a deep breath, and starts to speak.
"A ninja is someone who can manipulate chakra and use it to create techniques. Chakra is the manifestation of a ninja's physical energy that can be drawn upon from every cell of our bodies. Once the chakra is moulded, it can be sent via channeling to each of the chakra points in our bodies, known as tenketsu, which their are 361 of. Chakra can be controlled and manipulated to do something, or make something that would otherwise be impossible. Chakra can be used, channeled, and focused to different parts of your body to do different things, be it walking on water, spewing fireballs from your mouth, or putting somebody into a dream like state. The basic 5 elements that can be manipulated via chakra are fire (Katon), water (Suiton), earth (Doton), wind (Futon), and lightning (Raiton). Ninjutsu is the ability to focus and manipulate chakra to do things that are otherwise impossible. Ninjutsu is mainly done through forming hand signs. Different methods exist, however this is the most common way. By focusing your chakra to certain points in your body and moulding your chakra to give it certain characteristics of an element, a ninja can produce a technique of any of the 5 basic elements. The reason why I want to learn Ninjutsu is, I want a good understanding of how to manipulate and mould all types of chakra, and learn about the chakra flow in general. I also want to learn Ninjutsu for the techniques that come with it. I think it would be very useful in battle to be able to create Shadow Clones, as well as powerful techniques like the Rasengan. I feel as if learning Ninjutsu, especially first, will give me a head start on the rest of my training after this, and will be a good tool to broaden my knowledge of chakra manipulation and moulding in general."

±± Ninja ±±
A ninja is someone who uses their full abilities in the service of his/hers beliefs, working to achieve a goal. This goal can be anything from peace to war, money, destruction, personal griefs or even revenge and can be shared with others or individual. Most ninjas are fighters and correspond to the bulk of the military force of the great nations. However, a ninja doesn't need to be a fighter. Even medics or a simple carpenter may, in times of need, use his abilities (medical knowledge or abilities in working with wood for example) to accomplish the goals he set to himself, following his beliefs.


±± Chakra ±±
Chakra is the energy that is formed through the passive combination of both the Physical and the Spiritual energies in a sentient being (every living being with a conscious mind has chakra). Physical energy corresponds to the vitality of the body and its own energy. Spiritual energy corresponds to the mind or spirit, and comes from the awareness and "soul" of each sentient being.

Some ninjas have high levels of chakra because they have great physical energy (like the Akimichi or even Tsunade) and others because of their spiritual energy (like the Uchiha and the Yamanaka). However, its much more difficult to increase the spiritual energy than the physical one, thus why all ninjas pass through intensive physical workout.

Yin and Yang are based on this same concept. Yin is the basis of the spirit while Yang the basis of the body. In this i won't go into more dept because there are 2 things to consider: Yin/Yang manipulation in our RP is different from the manga one and both are more or less inacessible.

Chakra flows in a circulatory system inside your body, in a way that much resembles the blood circulation. This circulatory system has 8 small reservoirs that act as both storage but also chakra regulation. These are the eight inner gates. Along your circulatory system, small "portals" exist that enable you to expell chakra from your body. These are called Tenketsu and there are 361 of them scattered allong the body. When a tenketsu opens, chakra poors out of it. Its by molding the chakra that comes out of the tenketsu that you produce ninjutsu and genjutsu.


±± Ninjutsu ±±
Ninjutsu, or Ninja Arts, is the ability to, through the use of chakra, accomplish tasks that would be otherwise impossible to do. Ninjutsu are done by 2 stepts: focusing your chakra and molding your chakra. Focusing is using your will power to "will" a portion of your chakra to do something. On the other hand, molding is giving your chakra a set of characteristics that will enable you to produce the desired end effect.

Think of the chakra flow as our breathing. Normally, it happens passively, without any conscious intervention. However, when you need to you can use your will to control it. Its the same with your chakra flow. Its happens normally without your consicious intervention. However, you can focus your chakra and make it produce something.

Now, molding the chakra is done by two basic principles: Shape Manipulation and Nature Transformation. These correspond to the two broad areas that one needs to change in the chakra to produce a jutsu. Shape manipulation pertains to the ability to give your chakra a desired form while Nature transformation pertains to the ability to give your chakra a desired set of characteristics/properties. Sometimes, to better mold chakra, ninja use Handseals. Handseals are simply hand gestures that allow the ninja to more easily concentrate and mold the chakra into the desired technique.

"So, just to get into this thing. I want you to try and gather your chakra in the palm of your hand. Sounds simple enough right? "

Sinbad holds out his right hand. Immediately following, he focuses on the flow of his chakra, imagining it inside of his body much like that of blood flow. After feeling the flow of chakra within himself, he focuses on his palm that he held out. He attempts to bring his chakra to that place. He feels the chakra flowing from his body to his palm.

"Am I doing this right, sensei?"

Castiel watches as Sin, tries to muster up the chakra in his hand, which he manages to do.

"You are doing it correct, now it is time to move onto the actual techniques."

So I'm going to give you a choice. You can either use a template, or the other method.

So idea is simple, I will post the techniques and I will ask you to analyse them for me, for example: how to use it in battle, how to counter it, what is good about this technique (pros), what is bad about it (cons), what you like about it and etc. I think you pretty much get what I mean. The "How to perform" - part is a bit, not needed for, but you are more than welcome to perform it, if you don't understand the technique. It's better if we focus on the important things, like actually analysing the whole technique and knowing how to use it in a fight. Only filling the template is boring and sometimes not fun. I want to make this training as enjoyable as I can, I know templates can be boring and dull at times.

I will give a need description of my own below the technique, but I want you to use the method you choose to dissect the technique. In a manner of speaking.

(Fukumi Hari) - Hidden Needles

Description: The user is able to call forth needles into their mouth and then spit them at their opponent with great accuracy.

This one is rather simple but the range is lame, with this one I want you to gather some chakra in your mouth and then use shape manipulation on the chakra to form chakra needles that you will spit at my clone using your great accuracy. This technique seems like it would come in rather good use if you are of course within range of your target.

+This technique would be used in battle at short range by creating needles of chakra in your mouth via shape manipulation, and they can be shot out with great accuracy.
+To counter this technique, I'm assuming the needles will hit their target pretty quickly because it is close range. That being said, I would counter with either greater speed, or a simple earth pillar (once I learn earth, lol).
+Some of the advantages are that it can be done without the use of hand seals, so the needles are quickly produced. Like I mentioned earlier, when you are at close range, the needles are highly accurate and can hit the target rather quickly.
+Some of the disadvantages are that it is limited to short range, and can be easily dodged by stepping out of close range.

My personal opinion in the technique is that it is decent/pretty useful when close range, like, maybe if somebody was running at me, I could throw them off by shooting out these needles from my mouth, aiming at their eyes. That would then give me the opportunity to counter attack, so I feel the technique is useful, but it's usefulness is determined by the situation.

Well done. It isn't a bad technique for such a low rank, I must admit. Only good if you enjoy close encounters though.

(Kage Shuriken no Jutsu) - Shadow Shuriken Technique

Description: Kage Shuriken no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing a giant Windmill Shuriken. When throwing the shuriken, the ninja will also throw a second giant shuriken to hide in the shadow of the first. The hidden secondary shuriken can then approach the target without their being aware.

With this one, take out two of those giant windmill shurikens, and with the first one throw it towards your target, as soon as you let go of the first shuriken you will throw the second one to hide in the shadow of the first one you threw. This technique can get your target by surprise, and range isn't bad or so.

+This technique will be used in battle to have a better chance of striking the target. By throwing a second giant windmill shuriken in the shadow of the first, it will hide it, and as you said, will catch the opponent off guard.
+This technique can be counted by getting the hell out of the way of the shuriken and the shadow xD High speed, an earth pillar, or throwing your own windmill shuriken at the one that is visible (which would ultimately make you aware that something is approaching you) are all ways I see to be worthy of countering.
+Some of the advantages of this technique would be that it could catch the opponent off guard, and if it hits, it's a big and heavy object, the blunt force alone would do a lot of damage, not to mention the blades. I feel as if it could go right through an opponent if hit dead on.
+A disadvantage would be that it... Well, the technique itself is just... Very basic. Another situational technique.
+My personal opinion of the technique is that it is kind of lame, honestly. I don't think I'd use it unless the situation truly called for it.

Description: The user will create a swarm of sakura(cherry blossoms)petals to surround there opponents and swirl around them causing confusion.The user can then attack there opponent from any angle they choose.Blinds opponents eyes for the turn this jutsu is used.

Now, I want you to gather you chakra and release it around my clone, then use shape manipulation on the chakra to form them into a swarm of sakura's petals. Then proceed to control the petals, swirl them around my clone; blocking the clones vision, allowing you to attack him from any direction, how ever you want. You have to be within close range of your target, which is a bummer for this.

+Like the last technique, this technique is used to have a better chance of striking your opponent, however this technique seems much more useful. With this technique, one would create cherry blossoms that appear all around the opponent. This will in turn create an opening for a follow up attack and give it a better success rate than normal.
+Technique can easily be countered by remaining out of short range, or a simple wind jutsu to blow the cherry blossoms away.
+Advantages- it sets up your next move, and gives it a higher success rate.
+Disadvantages- The crappy range.
+My personal opinion of the technique is that it would be good against a noob. It has a good effect on the opponent, however the range is just, meh. So, basically the range makes the technique live up to the name, Sakura (useless xD). No, but really, it would be useful if you're fond of close combat.
