We now know about much hyped Sage and his sons. Also his mother who ate the fruit. Now forget about the mother because she became a goddess and then a reaper. I'm talking about the Sage and his sons.
We now know that Sage needed his brother to seal the Juubi. A brother who was on par with him. And we also know that the Sage became the gdlk figure after he and his brother sealed the Juubi i.e. after being the Jinchuriki
So the Legendary things appeared after he became the Jinchuriki and not before. Now lets talk about his sons- Indra and Ashura as seen are clearly not as strong as VOTE SM Hashirama and VOTE EMS Madara.
We also know that Hashirama (who isn't at his full power) was able to Pin-down [
Meaning what the sage and his brother achieved was actually achievable by Hashirama and a skilled sealing jutsu master. So whatever the sage did [as a non-jinchuriki] actually pales to what Hashirama could do!
Masashi now has done justice to what Kabuto said about Hashirama's powers being fairy-tale. His greatness can't be questioned

] the Juubi on his own with Mokuton-God-Gates so a sealing jutsu master such as Minato or Madara could easily have sealed the Juubi into himself and Hashirama if he wanted to.Meaning what the sage and his brother achieved was actually achievable by Hashirama and a skilled sealing jutsu master.
