Well as you already know, I think Hagoromo's brother wrote the tablet and left himself out

And yes, I do think he is the one manipulating Madara, via the tablet, to do his bidding

That what Kishi wants us to think, but it was really the uncle hating. He was left out of history and wanted to make a name for himself. Kishi foreshadowed it with Tobi/Madara Mystery.

So he purposly left himself out, hmm interesting. So yea, i believe he is manipulating Madara through the Tablet, maybe it's to gather the Juubi so he can seal the other half into him?

Yes, I believe he did leave himself out because it probably would've been a bad idea to mention the fact that he's really a bitter brother who just wanted power to himself and wants to do everything against his more famous brother's will (assuming that was the case)

And that could be it. I think the "shell" that Hagoromo used to create the moon was the part of the juubi that was in his brother. i wouldn't be surprised if some piece of him were still in that shell and he is revived if Madara is able to begin his infinite tsukuyomi project, which he might reseal the juubi in himself again and destroy everyone else

Yea indeed, What if the whole Infiniti Tsukuyomi was just an elaborte plan to revive him. obito and madara would gather all the bijuu, Seal it into the gedo Mazo and then revive the Juubi and then cast Infiniti tsukuyomi which would revive him in the perfect moment where he can grab the Juubi, seal it inside him and take over the world. Yea, This seems most likely at this point indeed.

I'm thinking the Uchiha tablet was not written by Hagoromo. I mention this because I'm under the impression that Hagoromo's brother is the one who wrote it and he purposely left himself out of this story. Why? Madara comes to the conclusion that the Sage failed in his quest to bring peace to the world. The Sage alone and no one else. Besides a history lesson, the tablet also mentions the secret to obtaining power in ways that can be considered immoral, why would the Sage give such information like that?

Unless he didn't, it's possible the Sage's brother purposely wrote the tablet the way he did in order to instigate this long war that's been feuding on for years even after Ashura's and Indra's deaths. Perhaps he's the one who's manipulating Madara, Madara may not even be aware of such manipulation. Maybe he's the one that helped Madara back at the VOTE. As you said, the Sage seemed to imply that the other half of the Juubi was sealed within his brother. Yet mentions nothing of him afterwards. I think that's because his brother was not someone worth saying good things about at the time. Hell, maybe Infinite Tsukuyomi isn't even a dream world. It could be the revival of the Sage's brother who plans on taking revenge for not being as well-known as his brother or felt betrayed or something along those lines. I think there's a lot more to the Sage's brother than we've been led on to so far

But yeah, it seems Madara genuinely did not know about the existence of the brother, felt like that would have been worthy of mention when talking about the defeat of the Juubi. Obito didn't mention it either when he talked about the Sage beating the Juubi in the 5 Kage arc as well.

Very interesting. Sage's brother wrote the tablet and purposly left himself out of it. hmm Could he be the final villain we all been waiting for? It seems Madara knows nothing about the history, he only knows what Rikudo's brother wanted him to know.

MY thoughts exactly! I believe the true halves (god split in yin and ying) that the tablet was speaking of the 2nd half of the Juubi of Hagoromo's brother that was kept in secret.

That would be an amazing plot twist. Please write manga.

I'm thinking that this could be the case, like I said before, it's possible IT is nothing but a sham for the Sage's brother to be revived somehow. There are indeed holes in the Uchiha tablet and it's very strange that only the Elder's son generation has this tablet while the Ashura's side seems to have nothing to parallel with it. Whoever wrote the tablet must have only wrote what they wanted the reader to know, and not the full story in order to twist history closer to something they desire

Indeed. This way Hagoromo's brother would actually have ALL of the Juubi instead of half. If what I said about his half of the juubi sealed away in the moon that Hagoromo created, then that + the 9 bijuu that are basically the half that Hagoromo had in him would be the complete thing. It's probably why the eye of the tree needs to look at the moon. It'll probably awaken the other half or something

I bet it's exactly your second choice (Hagoromo's brother is manipulating Hagoromo's descendance) , and I made a thread on this subject yesterday:

There is not a lot of read.

The Sage's brother interests me. We don;t know a thing about him other than he is the Sage's brother and fought Juubi and got it sealed inside him. There's a lot of questions about him and I hope Kishi explains it.

Couldn't agree more and this bold part was really interesting. This is further proof that Rikudo's brother purposely left the tablet for the older Son due to the Curse of Hatred be probably sensed in him.

This seems incredibly plausible. This way, Everyone works together (How Rikudo envisioned peace) to fight Rikudo's older brother, and ultimatly defeating him and befriending the Juubi. Instantaneous peace.

Like I theorized before, Kaguya is the Reaper (Hannya Female Demon) of RDS:

And that the Tablet was needed with the Mask to summon her:

So there's an element of mystery/deception in the Tablet? but from whom? the Uncle? hm....

I believe that Indra manipulated the tablet and plans to take over Madara's body and then ruling the world under the power of his Infinite Tsukuyomi.

Most likely. So all those theories about someone manipulating the Older son's generation was correct after all. (instead of shojo, It's Rikudo's brother)

Yeah, the tablet was weird in the way it was written, especially since it had the whole "2 opposing forces cooperating" and madara's "interpretation" of 1 man having all the power was strange. I thought it was weird when I read it, as it would mean Madara's comprehension skills are shitty, but maybe the tablet was written by a sinister man(hagaromos brother) and so there was some misinformation. Good thread.

But what about the evil uncle manipulating his discarded nephew and his descendants?

I'm pretty sure that sneaky bastard already knew about the sage's brother.

The Sage seemed so reluctant to get into details about his mother and his brother.

His brother either did something evil, or die a pretty sad death that could lead him to awaken his ocular power.

Indeed, this seems the most probable situation. And thanks.

Probably lol. Yea, there's something about his Mother and his brother, we'll find out soon.

lmao! Very possible indeed. But I feel the Uncle was an Uzumaki, so I guess I am going off my own bias lol. That and I feel if he was evil he would've given his half of the juubi to Indra.

Well Derp is the one who pointed out the peculiarity of the tablet being on one side to me xd But yeah, I get that same feeling with the Curse of Hatred. I think we'll hear more about the brother in upcoming chapters. If the brother truly did influence the Curse of Hatred, then we'll hear about it soon since Rikudou is about to mention the beginning of the long wars between Ashura, Indra, and the descendants of the two.
