I'll keep this short and simple.

Tobirama defeated MS Izuna mid-difficulty.
Hashirama defeated MS Madara low-difficulty.
MS Madara and Izuna were equals

Hashirama eventually defeated EMS Madara mid-difficulty. Madara needed the Kyuubi to give Hashirama extreme difficulty. Going by the trend, shouldn't Tobirama be able to beat EMS Madara high-extreme difficulty? No? How about this....

When the Edo Hokages were jumping down onto Hokage Mountain, Tobirama seemed supremely confident in his ability to beat Madara(he thought it was EMS Madara). If thats not enough, Blind Madara said that he always wanted to kill Tobirama but couldn't. The risk of a loss was too high if EMS Madara fought Tobirama and Madara knew it. He wouldn't hesitate to kill Tobirama unless Tobirama was on his level. We are talking about an extreme-difficulty fight here; a fight that could go either way.

Anothor testiment to Tobirama's strength is that even when he couldn't use his full power(limited to atleast 80%), he still made PS Sasuke worried and take a defensive posture due to his chakra levels and presence alone, only to be bested by the presence and chakra of Hashirama.

Quick Note: What can Tobirama do against PS? Whats keeping him from marking Madara with a FTG symbol? No matter how high EMS Madara goes, Tobirama can simply teleport to him.

You can't say he defeated Izuna alone, there's plenty of factors that could've happened leading up to that final event. Tobirama probably didn't fight him directly anyways, considering he was known as the man to strike ungracefully. EMS Madara takes this medium to low difficulty.

By far this thread is so wrong ... Madara and izuna were not equals at all itachi s story was wrong go at hashi s story and reread the chapters the only one who could take Madara was Hashirama , Tobirama was no match for madara Also The reason madara said he wanted to kill tobirama was because he killed his younger brother but at the time Uchiha and senju were at an allaince Also When he left the village he knew if he tryed to kill tobirama hashirama would not stand still

Yes, he said Hashi can fight on par with him, but Hashi never said that Madara can fight on par with him. Mind you, Hashirama was really worried that he'd kill Madara then. U_U

Well a few things... I also disagree with the majority of this, and its overall intention.

- Where is it said that Madara "needed" Kurama? I believe it was a weapon as Kurama was completely controlled, correct? Madara had to fight and control Kurama simultaneously.
- I believe when Madara fought the first time with EMS it was against Hashirama, Tobirama, and a few other Senju, correct?
- When did Madara say "he always wanted to kill Tobirama, but couldn't"?
- You say an extreme difficulty fight between Tobirama and EMS Madara that could go either way, but your title says Tobirama>Madara.
- Where is it said Tobirama was at 80%? To my knowledge I remember "virtually" full strength. Which means that the lost in power is so diminutive that it's not even noticeable.


Nonetheless it's your opinion who is stronger, but Madara said before only Hashirama could compete with him upon equal ground. I disagree.....

Lmao,What does this has anything to do with my post? He said only Hashirama can fight on par with him which means that Tobirama(Or any other shinobi of their time ) was inferior in his eyes.Hashirama being stronger than Madara has nothing to do with this.

Iam not a fan of Madara btw.I like him but Tobirama is far above Madara in my fav character list.
