I've been trying to lucid dream for awhile now but I can't even enter into sleep paralysis for some reason. I've seen people on this site talking about these things before but I don't remember who you were so can anyone help me?

I lucid ream quite often, and have full control in the dreams - and i can fly in almost every dream, however i do not use any techniques its just because of my extreme brain activity

I suggest you ask Endash about techniques

Dude Ive tried this many times... Ive figured out a couple things that help...
1- all day long you must ask yourself "Am I Dreaming?" like every time you do something for example idk sneeze just say "Am I Dreaming?" this way you can ask yourself in your dreams, and when you ask your self if your dreams, you can realize that you are dreaming, thus being able to control your dreams.
2- Lay perfectly still. lay on your back, and your arms by your sides. When I say perfectly still, I mean PERFECTLY STILL. Think about it as if your trying to acquire Sage Mode. You must not move at all. Your body will start to itch in random places, your body does this in order to go to sleep. Avoid itching it, you must not itch at all. NO MOVEMENT. It will take a while (depending on how tired you are and how exhausted your body is) probably 30-40 minutes or maybe more... buts cool when it does happen. Your body will go to sleep but your mind will be awake. you are conscience of sleep but you are awake. Again you must not move at all. you can open your eyes but do not move, some say there are visuals that happen (happened to me a couple times but nothing extreme). Try it man let me know how it goes. Lucid dreaming is intense stuff. remember SAGE MODE!!

i've had many lucid dreams, where in them i blow up at my family and tell them off. by the way they're awful. afterward; when i wake up i feel drained, and my brain feels over loaded and numb. also a little good. kind of relieved.

Yes! This is what I was reading online before! But for some reason it never worked for me and I can't find the site I was using before when I google it now.

this site has the most comprehensive collection on lucid dream i know of. i got my first lucid dream with the techniques here.

the technique the worked best for me was MILD (mnemonic induced lucid dream) but for every person it's different. i should say that it took me 30 night of doing MILD to get my first lucid dream, and when i did it was blurry and extremly short, but also a lot of fun and very exciting.

basicly, it was repeating every night while i go to sleep in bad "tonight i will have a lucid dream, i will remember the dream in the morning, i will fly in my dream, tonight i will have a lucid dream, i will remember the dream..." and so on. it makes your brain remember that you want to lucid dream and the more you do it the more likely you are to remember it while dreaming.

the other stuff you should do are to write a dream journal and do some dream cheks couple of times a day. a dream journal is just writing your dream every morning immediatly after you wake up (even if it wasn't a lucid dream).

a dream check is a check to see if you're dreaming or not (spinning tops don't count!), mine was trying to get two fingers through my hand. doing simple math also helps since it's harder while dreaming and it makes your brain work harder which makes you more lucid.

the main thing you are trying to do is realise you are dreaming while dreaming. so focus on that, every lucid dream i had was achieved because something was off in the dream (i was floating instead of falling, farther away stuff were larger then closer stuff etc...). if every time you see something strange in the dream you will ask yourself "am i dreaming right now?" eventually the answer will be yes.

in terms of sleep paralysis, you don't want that. it's when you wake up but still paralyzed from sleep and have a hard time moving and breathing. which gives you an instant nightmare and a very scary one. i think what you meant was WILD (Wake Induced Lucid Dream) which is going to sleep while staying awake and entering a dream already lucid. but i never managed to do that.

Dreaming is amazing. I just cant get enough of it.

You cant choose the strength but you can choose the outcome.

once your dreaming you need to realise it first before you can learn anything else.
