Why are "good" Tai-Jutsu users so rare?

I've been wondering for a long time now why Tai-Jutsu users are so rare?
Me, personally I really enjoy seeing Gai beat the crap out of Juubidara using Tai-Jutsu

But why are there so few "good" Tai-Jutsu users?
When I think of Tai-Jutsu users the first thing that comes to my mind are:

Gai, Lee, A, B and maybe Tsunade who are all exceptionally skilled!

Is it because Kishi likes Nin-Jutsu/Gen-Jutsu more and it's more beautiful to look at?
Or is it simply harder to master?

If you just watch 8th Gate Gai right now, I can't really think of a real reason.
I just think it looks total badass.

Because ninja with Ninjutsu tend to stay focused in that aspect, it's very rare for Taijutsu to decide a battle anyway, against most ninja that's suicide.

Every mid-top tier ninja has some taijutsu expertise. Not all are masters because they didnt dedicate their life into it like Gai and Lee did. It depends on their style of combat and most top tier ninja has a balance between their ninjutsu and taijutsu.

Its genjutsu that's more rare and there are hardly any masters outside the uchiha clan

good taijutsu user require thick eyebrows, as a necessary criteria, but most people don't have one...hence very rare.!!

B and Tsunade don't even have a style, so they're certainly not masters. The latter just uses random punches and kicks and the former just shares one move with his brother.

Strictly talking: High level taijutsu = Kinjutsu

That's the reason.

You have a wood stick(taijutsu) and a gun(nin-genjutsu).
What weapon will the majority of soldiers choose to master?

That doesn't explain why the number of users of forbidden techniques using chakra is far above the number of those who don't use chakra.

In the NV it dosent really pay off to master taijutsu when most of your opponents are just going to hand jive and breath fire at you or lightning fist you in the chest or stare you into another dimension. Even the majority of taijutsu specialists supplement they're skills with chakra like aye and tsunade,I'm sure if lee and gai had the option they would as well.

You forgot to mention the Hyuga's. Technically they also only use Taijutsu at least as far as we've been shown so far. If you check this page it shows all of Neji's attacks are classified as taijutsu including vacuum palm.

I really wish kishi had done more with the hyuga clan. In part one they were hyped to no end and now they just blend in with the rest of the leafs clans. Technically they supplement most of their style with chakra too,but in the most interesting way by far. The hyuga could be shutting down chakra networks in the war but instead kishi has them mass air palming shit.

it's simple, unlike a few ninja like lee and gai who can't use ninjutsu properly, everyone else has other options. gai and lee dedicated there whole shinobi life to one aspect, and didn't have to worry about anything else. other ninjas have to be a little more well rounded, and use different nin and gin jutsu. generally speaking ninjutsu is going to be better than taijutsu anyways, which is why ninja are less proficient in it. eight gates are a special kind of taijutsu, they could be used as ninjutsu as well most likely, but the kind of taijutsu you can use with it seems more like ninjutsu anyways as it is able to take specific shapes. but all in all most are good enough in taijutsu just to get through the little that they need to use it in a fight, but generally unless you are hyuuga, ninjutsu and ginjutsu should be focused on more.
