um, madara is a god right now, of course he's gonna be able to take a punch. i guess you also missed the damage it gave to that god right? never compare sasuke to madara, you'll just set yourself up for failure.

Madara wouldve killed Gai if Minato didnt save him. Kakashi made a hole for Gai him to hit him, so its not like he's going one on one with Madara. Sasuke has more than enough tech to beat a temporarily buffed Gai. Ill give him credit because the 8th gate is hella strong but Sasuke is a living legend. Gai has to sacrifice his life to have a chance because he's not on his level.

Just to refresh your memorys : madara made sasuke look like a complete joke but hes excited about his fight against gai.

They arent even on the same level. gai is at least 3 - 4 level above sasuke. It would be the same as sakura vs itachi.
