So? They are better techniques. As we all know, Wind > Lightning, but the third tanked a Rasenshuriken, the strongest Wind Style jutsu in the manga. He could easily tank Kirin. Not to mention he has Black Lightning.

Kirin is a badass tech and I wish that Sasuke would use it more, however...

It takes too much prep time. It's pretty useless at this point in the series.

Itachi Uchiha pulled out his susanno in an insant faster than lightning and tanked it. Then he just reformed it. And he did that while blind/99% dead.

Minato Namikaze can just teleport out of the area.

Tobirama Senju can teleport out of the area just like Minato Namikaze can.

Hashirama Senju can defend himself against it w/ his deep forest emergence mokuten technique.

Madara Uchiha stole Hashirama's DNA and can do the same as Hashirama. Also, Madara has susanno as well. Anyone w/ susanno can withstand it actually.

Obito Uchiha can just kamui himself and make himself intangible the moment before it strikes.

Naruto Uzumaki can withstand it if he is in Kyubbi chakra mode.

Killer Bee can withstand it when he is in his Hachibi chakra mode.

Even Sakura Haruno can withstand the technique if she summons a part of Katsuyu and has her surround her and take the hit for her. If Katsuyu can protect Sakura from a powerful technique like shinra tensei that destroyed the village in one blow, she is going to protect her from lightining as well.

Tsunade Senju can do the same as Sakura.

Also, since wind style trumps lighning style, someone who is a wind user could defend themselves by summoning a wind style attack that is the same size as kirin.

A ton of people can come out of that attack/avoid it totally fine. There is a reason that Sasuke no longer uses this technique in the series. After Itachi and Nagato died, during the war arc the power scale in this series went up dramatically.

sigh this is getting out of hand. no the raikage have better control, most likely bee as well. third raikage had black lightning as well, which he only shared with darui. karin has literally been shown once, and most of the time not practical in battle. kakashi has better version of chidori.
