but u cant go by rank because naruto and sasuke are genin and they are both greater than the kages and kakashi and gai are jonin and they both are kage level...i dnt really care to choose who wins because this one is actually a pretty hard one to determine and i find them almost equal i just replied to this because i nullify all things that is wrong logic...

I could see where you think this. Shino does have some pretty crazy techniques, and if he did make physical contact gaara is done for. but shino is not getting past gaaras ultimate defense. And yeah, ant lion technique sinks shino to the center of the earth and crushes him. Gaara is arguably the strongest Kazekage, shino is not touching him.
No hate on shino though, always have had respect for him. He still protects his comrades even though they forget his existence xD
