Did you forget that gai developed a whole completely different fighting style so he couldnt be caught in kakashi's genjutsu. That sounds like a huge counter to genjutsu considering sasuke's strongest genjutsu is done by his eye. So gai no difficulty because he makes madara excited like hashirama fights.

Not fact that its a chakra Absorbing technique but that both collided and its shown that its size gradually reduced over time.

and i wouldn't exactly say those shockwave sizes are the same. both of from two different angles the first is somewhat close range while the other seem to be showing a large area.

still gai didnt gave him big damage till he touch him. its not like ps have bijju power for nothing he is not going to stand there till gai fire up.ps sword swing slice mountains so how adout that air pressure?
big thing is with that speed he can hv to be dodge those orbs.its long range there and lee throw a kunai front of it still he coudnt dodge it so you dnt think amatharasu dont have a fair chance aiming him? im not saying sasuke solo smthing like that.he do have a fair chance there
