Sure he beats him. He punched Madara through the black thing wich can tank 4 Juubi Bijuu Bombs. That means his Susanoo is useless in this fight and his eyes are maybe to slow to cast Amaterasu on him in the right time.

but guys remember Sasuke has a Giant Susanoo and Madara cannot use Susanoo so Sasuke just guard with that and Gai dies because of time limit and sasuke amaterasu kills him almost onstantly gai cant win.

oh ppl sasuke have great defence with ps and he can use amatharasu over susanoo body again use amatharasu as a barrier like he did with kabuto. gai touch him thats going to make trouble in thats case its hard to touch him. ps attack is so powerfull as well
