it doesnt take more than one kamui to seal a win, why would he spam kamui in a one on one match like he has done in the war

He never uses it at a distance, I always suspected it was a mid range jutsu but the fact is that he never used it at extreme ranges barring deidara and we see how that attempt went.

I'm not gonna go and search for all his kamui scans but I've yet to see him his something man sized at an extreme range.

Furthermore he was getting his ass handed to him by hidan and kakuzu but only threatened to use it as a last resort when the chips were down and he was almost out of chakra, he never attempted it even when Choji and Ino were about to die. He could have used it on kakuzu early in their fight and made the whole thing with hidan child's play but he only tries to use it right when he's at death's door.

to me when I read between the lines it tells me kamui just isn't as spammable and is more harsh on his vision and body than you would like to believe, and each use brought his vision down or fatigued him so much so that he'd rather wait until he was almost dead before attempting to use it.

Thats speculation on both sides.

It can be inferred that it's due to overusage. While at the same time it can be inferred that it was his limit to begin with even if he didnt use kamui all those times.

Im leaning towards the 1st since we already know about the eye strain MS users go through and its effect on eyesight.

Its possible that the farther the distance the less control and speed he has over it but that doesnt have anything to do with much.

@Bold Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. I can just as easily claim the opposite of what you said and it's just as valid. In my case, actually, it's more valid, considering there is no reason his MS should be blurry at a range when he hasn't overused it.

@Underline Kishimoto can't have Kakashi going around Kamuing everybody, so he often makes up excuses for it. He totally could have Kamui'd Hidan and Kakuzu.
