What do you like/dislike about akatsuki members?

Same as the title, what likes/dislikes do you have for any akatsuki members?
You can talk about 1 member or all, and they can also be Ex-Akatuski, and I didn't really go in-depth on this.
Deidara- Like his art, hate all the nasty extra mouths he has

Sasori- Like his story, but I think he is messed up in the head for making people into puppets.

Orochimaru- I like his intellect but man he is one creepy guy who takes a little too much liking Sasuke/uchiha bodies.

Obito- Straight up beast, but the Rin Chronicles 101 is annoying.

Nagato- All like no dislike
Pein- total badass

Konan- All like no dislike (though I imagine Yahiko may have gotten one nasty paper cut)

Kisame- Love his personality and actions but he them beady eyes and the Kisamehada form is literally grotesque.

Kakuzu- Great fighter, all those stitchings are messed up.

Itachi- His whole story was too good, I can say he is one of the best written characters.

Hidan- hilarious yet homicidal maniac. He goes way too hard on that Jashinism. He takes way too much pleasure in hurting himself. (imagine if he got laid)

Zetsu- What the freak is wrong with this guy, he EATS PEOPLE, like I thought he was a plant (I am well aware there are Carnivorous plants.) I guess he has a "it's either us or them" philosophy, idk.

I dont have anything on each of them specifically but i loved the air of mystery and evil they had when first introduced. They could have been excellent final villains.

I like em all esp diedara and itachi, I like the fact that they all have their own peculiar traits.

Love Konan/Yahiko/Nagato (great Background & characters overall) Sasori has a great backstory too , same with Itachi & Deidara .

Despise/dislike : Obito , Zetsu , Kakuzu , Hidan <-----annoying characters .

Meh : Kisame , he is the definition of a Ninja tho & with a great background as well , but I'm just not a fan of him .

Overall I really enjoyed the Akatsuki and wish they were still the source of villains of the show instead of it being Madara and Obito. They were mysterious, their jutsus rocked, and their battles involved a lot of battle intelligence and well thought planning.

Deidara- Awesome personality and loved his crazy obsession with art. He was always unpredictable and fun. :xylon:

Sasori- Making puppets out of people was pure evil and I loved it .

Obito- Wish Tobi was someone else, but oh well. I'm just not a fan of him turning good and the constant Rin talks. It seem like a suitable reason compared to Nagato's :|.

Nagato- Pain was the best. I loved how composed and confident he was and how he believed that what he was doing was going to save the world. He had also had an excellent back story, godly music, and his six paths of pain technique was interesting to figure out. He was everything that I wanted from the leader of the Akatsuki, the baddest mofo of the bunch.

Konan- I had no problem with her but I wish she could have had more development and battles.

Kisame- Kisame was a boss. He was a powerhouse and I was always curious about his sword (that's what she said).

Itachi - Was my second fav Akatsuki. He had some amazing techs and was so mysterious. I especially liked the controversy about the Uchiha Massacre.

Zetsu - Meh. He became less interesting after there were hundreds of thousands of him. :eww:

Orochimaru - Nothing wrong with him. He was just creepy and pure evil. I don't like it that he's good now though (or is he?).

Kakuzu - His 5 hearts technique was really cool and unexpected. I liked his obsession with money and just how angry he always was. It was perfect, hilarious blend for him to be stuck with Hidan. =D

Hidan - Wreckless and hot headed. I thought he was great! :bouncy:

I hate how Deidara commited suicide and didn't get to kill Sasuke. It probably make him feel horrible.

lol, it was during the Sasori/Deidara ark, Zetsu was told to "take care of the bodies." Still, that is messed up.

Well he certainly seems to have a nasty habit of regurgitating things out of his throat.

Deidara: Like his funny way of being. Dislike his cocky and obssessive nature.

Sasori: Live everyting, dislike nothing.

Orochimaru: Same as above xD.

Obito: He's overall meh, i don't like or dislike anything about him.

Nagato: I like his sad background and friendly, regretfull personality. Dislike the fact that he killed Jiraiya in such a cool hearted manner.

Konan: Like her dedication to Nagato and Yahiko but dislike her extremely boring personality.

Kisame: Like his loyalty towards his comrades when he truly believes in something. Dislike the fact that he didn't seem that much of a bad guy but never really had a strong connection with other characters (like friendship for example).

Kakuzu: Like his businessman persona, dislike his somewhat "i'm better than you cause i survived against Hashirama and have 91 years old of experience" personality.

Itachi: Like the fact that he was a true shinobi and the love he nurtured for his brother and village. Dislike how he handled things (killing his clan, making Sasuke suffer, not taking care of everything himself using his own power).

Hidan: Like the fact that he's one of the few (if not the only one) real "bad-guys", every other had a reason to become evil but he just seems to have been born an insane, cold blooded, psychotic, maniac, murdered. Dislike the fact that he's so annoying and is so one dimensional.

Zetsu: Like his double personality (if you still want to count them as one). Dislike Black Zetsu's parasitic nature and White Zetsu's personality is also annoying most of the time (+ there're thousands like him).

Tbh, the dislikes are quite forced but i tried to give a complete answer. I rarely dislike anything about a character.

I like all of them, they had the mysterious criminal background going. I never really dislike anything about them. I like how they conversate with each other, sometimes argue and find other members annoying but they get the job done. Also almost all of them have like some monstrous/inhuman theme going on. Except Konan and Obito, they are the most normal. And Kisames form is grotesque? Deidara's hand mouth thingys? Sasori's human puppet theme? Get out of here all that was cool as hell.

Well this thread is the "dislike/like" thread for Akatsuki, so I am entitled to my opinion baka.

I forgot about Kakuzu's businessman quality, that is also something I like about him.

I don't really like the Akatsuki, other than Hidan/Kakuzu because they are probably the only pure evil characters in the show (also the Lord Jashin hype). On the contrary it is because of them I had to see those terrible Asama dying arc scenes. Soloking is the best (not better than Hiruzen). Other than that the rest need serious therapy and some cupcakes. I liked Deva Path, but Nagato's circular logic and depressing vibes ruined him for me.
