actually without itachi the other two would have been dead. Even if he wasnt controlled the guy is too slow to react to getting impaled. He would have gotten Genjutsued too if kabuto didnt control him.

Itachi can control Kurama is just your assumption. Only Madara and Obito showed us the ability.

Itachi only won because Naruto and Bee were there. Nagato was also not in control of himself and Itachi had immortality and unlimited chakra reserves only because of the Edo Tensei.

It was established that Itachi has low chakra reserves and stamina.

And did you remember how DSM Kabuto owned Itachi? I was pretty disappointed to see that. But maybe that went to show just how overpowered DMS Kabuto was.
