So isn't it basically the same thing with Naruto and Sakura? at the moment all the pairings are one sided. when comes on to Sakura and Naruto, naruto was friendzoned from the get go and does typical things that guys that get friend zone does for example :
Trying to make the girl happen at the cost of his own feelings = Rescuing Sasuke.

I never said it isn't. In my opinion both NaruHina and NaruSaku suck. But Sakura is clearly not sure of her feelings right now, even Sai noticed this. Also the manga is all about parallels, and the parallel between Sakura's personality and Kushina's is very clear. That's why I find NaruSaku more likely to happen, whether I like it or not. In my opinion, the best choice would be something unexpected in the end, after some timeskip of few years, something like... Let's say... NaruIno. Not to mention it's the most realistic case, since the childhood crushes almost never last long.
