Is Sand Release an Earth Manipulation technique ?

Sand ninjutsu does not have a chakra nature. That's like saying Sai's jutsu is "ink release". I understand what you mean though but if it was, it would have been mentioned by now. It is just the manipulation of sand via ninjutsu. Correct me if in wrong here but I think Sand Clone is available to everybody but only Gaara has full control over sand thanks to Shukaku.

Sand release is a combination of earth and wind

its "similar to a kekkeigenkai thats why a normal user could not use it, Gaara somehow inherited the abilities of Shukaku thats why hes the only one who can use it - also hes father had the gold dust kekkeigenkai, there is aso the iron sand they are all considered kekkeigenkai

Wiki is not a useless site it's actually the best site for Naruto data. It never said Tsunade has lightning release. It says thatTsunade has the ability to send electricity through her opponents to mess up their neural pathways and it is unconfirmed if this involved lightning release.

Susanoo is a Doujutsu. A Doujutsu requires eyes to be cast. How can you cast a Doujutsu without Eyes ? If you can cast Susanoo without eyes by just Chakra stabilisation then you can cast Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi without eyes too.

In Itachi's last moment he also had susanoo activated without his sharingan on. Its never said that you need MS activated too use Susanoo. but you do need MS to unlock it. Uchiha's of course always fight when with there sharingan on, so we always assumed that you need it activated...but yea I hope Kishi will gif us some official info about that.

I think Sand is pure Earth release as there has been no Wind Characteristics. You can create Sand from Soil but not from Wind. Moreover, Sand is light and can easily float.

yes i know about shukaku, even before naruto - he is the god of wind in the mythologies

thts why I said Gaara has a power "similar" to kekkeigenkai, he has taken shukaku's abilities further by adding earth nature to it - if you remember in his fight with kimmimaro he molded and moistened the earth then used it to bury kimmi - dont tell me thats just wind? lol

sand doesnt move by itself - gaara uses wind to control it, furthermore its symbolic to the land of wind where he hails from

Gold Dust and Iron Sand are part of the Magnet Release Kekkei Genkai. Sand has never been stated to be a combination of wind and earth.
