Well i am asking a question......
But let me tell u directly I DONT KNOW THE CORRECT ANSWER OR ACTUALLY DONT REMEMBER IT
BUT can surely recognise the right argument....

ok question-

ones 2 friends went to a shop to buy two watches.but the shopkeeper was not there so his servant
asked for $50 (25*2) and the friends paid the amount and bought the watches.
But when the shopkeeper came he said to the servant that the watches worth only 22.5$ each and so gave 5$
to the servant and asked him to give 2.5$ to each friend.but the servant was greedy and kept 1$ from money of each
friend (so kept 2$)and paid 1.5$ to each friend.now the watches cost them 23.5$ .
now the main part .......total money in the end=23.5+23.5+2(servant)=49$ but money paid by friends initially=50$
where is 1$????????
I have been asking this question since i was in class 3 and m now in 12..out of 37 people whom i have asked the question one one (my friends Arush) was able to correctly tell me where the problem is.
and please write somting in comments even if u cant answere this question as u will be knowing by now that i
m counting the people whom i have asked the question

thats something different

No it's the same riddle, you add when you should subtract.

It's misdirection on your part, trying to have people believe your math is correct when it's not.

Each man pays 22.50 for their watch. That's 45 dollars they are given $1.50 a piece back that's $3, this didn't go to pay their watches it came back to them, the watches cost $22.50. The prick watchmaker apprentice took $2.

All the money is there, you're just using misdirection to make it seem like it's not.

22.50 + 22.50 = 45
45 + 2 + 3 = 50

Again all the money is there no money "vanishes".

man i know that 22.5+22.5+5=50....its no paradox till then the real thing is wats wrong with
23.5+23.5+3=49

then just tell me where have i subtracted than adding

Edited it with the answer.

the watches worth only 22.5$ each and so gave 5$
to the servant and asked him to give 2.5$ to each friend.but the servant was greedy and kept 1$ from money of each
friend (so kept 2$)and paid 1.5$ to each friend.now the watches cost them 23.5$.

where is 1$????????

There is where you add. The watches cost 22.50 (22.50 * 2), the watchmaker's apprentice keeps $2, the customers get a $3 refund.

This is simple math that you try to make complicated.

man i know that 22.5+22.5+5=50....its no paradox till then the real thing is wats wrong with
23.5+23.5+3=49

You're doing the math wrong. If you don't want to see that then we're done here.

btw 23.5 + 23.5 + 3 = 50

23.5
23.5
03.0
____
50.0

He gave them 1.50 back and they thought they paid 23.50 take a dollar from what they have and add it to the 23.50 and that makes it 24.50. Take the .50 from them both and add it to the 24.50 that makes $25.00 from each
