Itachi no longer needs to worry about his stamina and chakra levels, thanks to Samehada's sharing ability. Tsukuyomi rapes Jiraiya, no question about that. Tobirama is overwhelmed by the combination prowess of team 2.

He's right. Tobirama is faster than all of them. He's not just going to stand there and let Kisame give Itachi chakra. Don't be ignorant. And even if they are able to do it, Kisame would be without a sword for a while and Jiraiya can finish him off before he can heal himself. The way I see it is Kisame is kinda screwed on using his water globe because both Jiraiya and Tobirama are both fine in water. Tobirama beingh the suiton master and Jiraiya having huge toads he can summon. Itachi on the other hand doesn't have anything much he can do in the water. He has weak suiton attacks. Again, Kisame can't touch Tobirama because hes too slow to keep up with him and Itachi wouldn't get Tobirama in any genjutsu because #1 he's also too slow and Tobirama has plenty of experience fighting the two most powerful Uchihas of all time, Itachi isn't any different. Kisame also can't absorb Jiraiya's chakra if hes in sage mode. So Kisame has to rely on his Taijutsu and/or suiton attacks which aren't enough to beat someone who has frog Katas and movement perception that rivals the sharingan in sage mode. It's already been proven that Susanoo cant block out sound so frog song takes Itachi out or goemon can melt Itachi's Susanoo because Yata mirror only blocks and doesn't absorb so goemon will melt it like Mei's lava melted Sasuke's. I just don't see Kisame and Itachi winning.

Team 1 takes it high difficulty in base mode and take it low difficulty if Jiraiya starts in sage mode.

Notice how Itachi is not saying that Jiraiya could beat him in the last quote, but in Itachi's first quote he thought he was going to die or get injured. They are afraid of Kurama which is inside Naruto.
