Yamoto isn't weak,he's just not op.
He is anbu status at least,last time I checked anbu aren't weak.

Yet yamoto remains underrated.

2: It was Itachi's knowledge that defeated Edo Nagato, and he arguably could've done all that by himself. He simply didn't know HOW durable the black orb was, and still to this day we, the readers, don't know if Itachi's personal yasaka could've beaten it.
Not saying Itachi would beat nagato (without KA, he gets solo'd) btw

Always thought that was BS to be honest... there's an equal chance that Itachi contributed a minor fraction of the damage as well (probably a greater chance considering one's a TBB and the other's a FRS). KN6's TBB didn't do jack to the one the Deva Path used, so it's hard to imagine Itachi accomplishing it by himself. I can only imagine the amount of excuses they can be made for that (probably something like he would attack the orb earlier and at a weaker state), but I wonder if that would actually stand. I haven't been to the VS section in a while so I wouldn't know x_x

OT: Well you say Nagato's underestimated, but you don't gauge where you think he SHOULD be. It's hard to harness the thoughts of the NB as a whole with such conflicting views.

Being a genin dosent make you weak,its just a ranking system(that's quite broken if you ask me). Naruto and sausuke are genin still.

"Old school" kabuto was said to be at kakshi's level stated by orochimaru I belive.

Regaurdless kabuto wasn't weak.

Neither is yamoto.

I belive he is confusing the hidden rain village with the mist.

He may be thinking of obito placing yagura under genjutsu and controlling an entire village through one person who is influenced by genjutsu.

Its my take on it any way. Op has already proven he dosent know what he's talking about.

He is in the top 20s or 30s on my list. Not underrating him... i'm simply just not creating up BS "prime Nagato" crap.

People are underrating him by putting someone like Minato, Naruto and Sasuke above him, which I believe is not especially Minato.

Naruto defeated SO6P with helps (from frogs, Hinata and Minato) and intels. He didn't exactly defeated Nagato, Nagato decided to kill himself.

Even when he lacked mobility because of leg injuries, he still owned KCM Naruto and Killer Bee very easy.

And if his legs were normal, Itachi might have difficulties in stabbing Nagato with Totsuka Blade.
