[Theory] Why Sasuke is Upgrading to the Elder Son's Eyes

So that means that sasukes new doujutsu Will still not be as powerful as the rinnegan.well it'll be cool though if it happened that way sasuke can start up his own clan with a new type of eyse and shit and since naruto will have the sages body but nit the eyes(unless obito transplants his ) sasuke could fill in and they can pull out a goku and vegeta fusion (could happen hahaha)

Yeah I covered that and I guess it wouldn't be but regardless its still an upgrade plus the Hashirama cells make up for it!

The point is that you need the sages body to unlock the rinnegan, which is why you need Senju DNA. It's not the real world where DNA follows logic and science..
The older brother did not have the sages body and so couldn't have had the rinnegan.

Sasuke will probably get the Rinnegan sometime in the future and as for Madara getting a new eye is probably the same eye as the juubi's(If he gets his other Eye from obito, his two eyes will merge in the center of his upper face to become one. Cyclops Madara HA!). IDK though, there's probability that I'm 99% wrong but I like to throw random assumptions just to see If I will win the jackpot.

Exactly it just doesn't add up! Losing your most loved one = Mangekyo. We know that to get the EMS you need a Mangekyo and you're brother must also have a Mangekyo to be compatible for EMS. Everything adds up all we need is an explanation for how Sasuke will achieve the Elder's eyes. Maybe some sort of Sage mode might have something to do it, since the Elder Son was probably a Sage.

Take a good look at Madara Uchiha and then think about "Slowing down upgrades" Kishi even stated that he wasn't even sure how to defeat Madara yet :vincent:

No because either way we'll get there anyways. We have to meet the Sage some way or an other and get a backstory on him and the origin of Chakra and Jutsu, his family included. It would be perfect to unlock it now to build hype and confusion then an explanation later at some point.

Not really, if there is a new one, it's already been shown, the only explanation needed would be its abilities and a bit about how it's awakened. The latter can easily be done in a chapter and the abilities can be shown evolving throughout several chapters.

i made theory about elder son eyes too
1.sage of six paths = yin (eyes) +yang (body)
2.yin = rinnegan =sage's eyes = elder son = spiritual energy = Uchiha (rinnegan = yin and not yin + yang)

4. when madara got hashirama DNA he got closer to the sage of six path DNA and that is why his eyes look like the eyes of the sage of six paths.
it make sense that the closer your dna get to the juuubi the more your eyes look like his.

Well I don't think the elder was born with the rinnegan because that would go against everything we know so far also you say its a "manga fact" but did you notice that "eyes" was in quotations?? This might be hinting that he the eyes he was gifted with are the swirly ones.
Either that or thats just what the Elder Son's Mangekyo looks like lol

I agree. As cool as it would be for the elder sons eyes to be somehting new they're likely just rinnegan. Otherwise they would be legendary as one of the 4 great dojutsu.

Look at the MS. They ALL look different and distinct, but it's the same Dojutsu. The elder Son likely just has a different Rinnegan, with maybe a slight variation in ability, but on an equal level.

Perhaps I mean anything might happen who knows! This is just a theory based on those pictures, although I've thought about the Elder's Eyes just being a normal Mangekyo and that just happens to be the design for his similar to the Rinnegan. That would actually make sense as well.

Or who knows. They say the sage was the greatest Ninja of all time, but all generations dream of their children surpassing them. Perhaps the elder son unlocked something higher than Rinnegan, like the Magekyo Rinnegan. This would fit the story too. Perhaps he fealt superior to his father and brother and expected them to be proud and choose him since he was the most powerful, but at the time of succession his brother was chosen for other reasons despite The elder's clear superiority. That would further explain the resentment.

It would also suggest that MR would be more difficult to obtain, and thus Sasuke probably won't wake up with them, but perhaps at somepoint during the fight with Madara... who knows.



EDIT- it's actually VERY plausible that it is something higher than Rinnegan since the tablet all the information came from reveals in stages of dojutsu. So since it was only read with Rinnegan so far that is all the info they have. Someone would have to unlock the next level up to be able to read that part of the tablet and learn the rest. Could definitely fit if it's a step up from rinnegan like mangekyo rinnegan.
