no because his level of gates go to 5 and its not that great not to mention it doesnt last that long and we seen edo madara annihilate gaara's divivsion in taijutsu and we knw bsm naruto can defeat probably compete with at least 2 villages at once with his multiple clones of bsm with straight taijutsu and speed and strength and kakashi is pretty high in taijutsu as well as the hyuuga who gai admitted had the better taijutsu, and no amount of training or 5 gates can beat someone as durable as the 3rd raikage or even A or killer bee v2 in taijutsu and lee even said kimimaru was a taijutsu master and said he makes no wasted movements and kimimaru was basically dead as stated by kabuto who said kimimaru is using sheer will to fight so if lee considered kimimaru a master even while he was terminally ill then im sure a healthy kimimaru would be the greatest in taijutsu no to mention most taijutsu attacks wont kill him due to his kg but if lee ever made it to be able to use the 7th or 8th gate then yes he would be...

yes their roles are switched in the sense of what they both went through at the time the other was smiling, such as lee facing his strongest opponent and getting beaten and the same for gai now he is facing his strongest opponent while every watches in shock and awe... if lee had equaled or surpassed gai the he would be able to join gai in using the 8th gate and they would have a better chance at winning but since lee isnt that means he hasnt reached his level...#BodyBag
