i laugh at how ignorant itachi fans are

so far Totsuka has only hit object that is not moving. even kabuto mentioned how nagato wasnt able to move due to his legs was useless.

and amaterasu havent managed to kill a single person except some zetsu clones

Totsuka doesn't have to pierce & seal to defeat or harm you. It can still cut. It cut those flailing mobile Hydra heads into pieces.
Amateratsu hits something and it stops whatever positive condition it was in. It burst Jiraiya's toad stomach, it hurt Sasuke so bad he stopped moving and had to use Orochimaru's jutsu to shed away from it. If Guy gets hit by amateratsu he will be burning to death.

I personally believe they are on the same level, so hard for me to chose someone stronger in this case

how can jiraya avoid amaterasu??? how can he not be caught in genjutsu??? u think he will just go into sage mode when he is a incomplete sage and he takes the longest to enter sage mode and he needs ma and pa to do it for him which is why he gathers natural energy to build up the amount needed to summon them which takes a long time and he cant use any ninjutsu while doing this so he cant beat itachi...

Strongest person he can defeat is Nagato or DSM Kabuto.

It's already manga fact that Itachi was lying when he said Jiraiya was stronger than him. He wasn't there to fight, and he had the perfect chance to take Jiraiya down, instead of looking at the end of the frog stomach, he could have turned around and lit Jiraiya w/ amaterasu. Jiraiya had no idea of what amaterasu was. (However, Jiraiya is still a great character and I do respect him.)

Sasuke did assist during the DSM Kabuto fight, but he was not truly needed there. Everytime he saved Itachi was right after Itachi saved him. The fight was even more difficult for Itachi w/ Sasuke being there, he had to protect his little brother and stop Kabuto w/o killing him. That and Kabuto had every advantage he needed (location, said he didn't want to kill Sasuke but still tried to injure him a few times just to mess w/ Itachi, cave reacted to sage mode, closed off vision, shut off hearing, could liquify body, etc), whereas Itachi had numerous disadvantages.

Gaara does not defeat Itachi at all. Gaara looks directly at his opponents before attacking them w/ sand...he's just look at Itachi and get caught in a genjutsu within the first few seconds of the fight. :/ But he is still a formidable opponent...just not for any genjutsu users.

I disagree. Kabuto made it clear during that fight that he wanted sasuke alive for experiments. Itachi would have been gone with the white sound jutsu unless he can put himself in genjutsu...

And if gaara was vs a known genjutsu master like itachi he can very effectivly fight without eye contact through huge walls of sand. He can also use the sand eye he always uses while keeping distance. The fight could easily go any way.


o.t -- i think the strongest he can beat is jiriaya/3rd raikage/kisime

OT: Strongest opponent Itachi can defeat would probably be Killer B? Any of the Current Kages as well.

Itachi wasn't going all out then, and Kabuto's edo's werent at full power. This can be seen by how Madara Stomped Hashirama after he was revived when the fight was fairly even before that.
