I've never been too sure of Itachi's strength and whether he's top 10 or not.

So i'd like to know: Who is the strongest character Itachi can beat?

Bonus: Who is the strongest character Edo Itachi can beat?

what...u never been sure of itachi's strength ??? what hasnt he not done that made u question his skills???




he is the best genjutsu user, not only that but he is the only genjutsu user that can mold chakra for genjutsu without sensors being to sense it...


his speed/reaction was on par with kcm naruto



he is a genius and the smartest in battle shinobi



he has a way to beat anybody



every shinobi knew of his skills even those outside of konohagakure, which makes u wonder that other villages started game planning on ways to beat him which speaks volumes



he is as accurate as tenten with weapons(kunai)


yata blocks everything


totsuka seals everything


he is a genius above all others




....he has a way to beat almost everyone




if u dnt knw yourself...u get beat by izanami


if u are not an uchiha skilled in genjutsu of his level...u get beat by tsukoyami


if u are slow....u get beat by amaterasu


i dnt knw what made u question how pwerful itachi is but the fact that he had to be struck with a unknown illness should tell you that was kishi's way of putting an end to the uber powerful itachi because he was too powerful




and edo itachi could beat any shinobi up until the juubi jins and maybe hashirama because of his mokuton jutsu that subdue the opponents

gaara cannot beat itachi....itachi is fast enough to get past the sand not consistently but susano disperses it anyway just as madara's did...dnt get me wrong gaara is a beast but itachi is a rarity of pure skill and talent much like LeBron james, i think gaara is the best out of the current kage and he should be top 15 but he cant beat itachi

The reason i'm not sure about Itachi's strength is because i've seen other VS threads where it would be for example: Minato VS Itachi and people made valid points. And i don't see Itachi in a lot of ''top 10's'' Which made me wonder what his true potential is. But your explanation was the best +rep

I'd definitely put Itachi in Top 10 but not in top 5

he is pretty strong character but some things should be accepted Nagato, Jiraiya & Might Guy can beat Itachi.
itachi can beat any uchiha except Madara & Obito

but anyway itachi is in top 10 in most top 10 threads and the only reason for maybe the recent push down the list is because of people adding fanism such as adding onoki over itachi which is ridiculous or putting the 3rd raikage despite him being prone to genjutsu from itachi and some people like to add the sage

1. Godara


2. Hashirama


3. Nagato


4. Bsm Naruto


5. Itachi


6. Ems Sasuke-he is below itachi because it was confirmed that KA would have solo'd sasuke


7. Dsm Kabuto-he can be moved up


8. Obito-he can be moved up


9. Minato


10. Maybe kakashi/tobirama/gai/kisame/muu/3rd raikage/2nd mizukage/gaara....anyone of them

he can beat juubito but he can beat ms/rinne obito which is why obito feared itachi anyway



and gai 7th gates has now strength feats to say he can break susano, and he is prone to genjutsu, and i fu say he will fight while watchng the feet of a sharingan user well tell yourself how many times has gai beaten kakashi in an actual fight...


and jiraya is too slow to survive long enought to into sage mode, he cant start in sage mode because that would be u tryng to create an unlikely scenario where jiraya wins which goes against how fights and shinobi enhancements happen during fights and yes nagato can beat itachi
