If Lee gets trapped, it is over and since he is a CQC fighter, he will no doubt get trapped within the mirrors.
However there is no intel in this fight so Haku doesn't know of Lee's taijutsu mastery which means he could get defeated if he decides to fight in CQC like he did against Sasuke.
Lee can only use one gate for a very limited amount of time and Kimimaro had no trouble reacting to it so Haku can transport himself away from a blitz from Lee. Lee can't instantly destroy all of Haku's mirrors especially if he spawns them in the air.
Although drunk Lee is tricky but he'd be too reckless and for a fighter who can fight from a safe distance, him being drunk wouldn't be at much of an advantage.

Part one Lee Needs to Connect the Primary Lotus to go into gates Just FYi, Then he has to power up through the levels to achieve the 5th gate. In part two was he only able to Go into 5th gate faster no preprep.

You know Haku was playing with them the entire fight right? He wasn't even close to being serious in the slightest.

Haku never wanted to kill them from the get go. And even saved them from Zabuza. When Haku was remotely serious, he was able to sense Zabuza about to get speed blitz by a fast Kakashi and Lighting blade, did Mirrors, then was able to intercept at the last second and save his master.

1. Haku was never trying to seriously harm him.
2. Nardo's chakra was split evenly hundreds of times, of course his reactions were shite.

.4. Unfair, everybody knows alcohol is hax. For sake of 'le matchup, Lee has no alcohol on him.
5. Sasuke just barely managed to dodge it, he was still at Haku's mercy. Not to mention that probably wasn't even Haku's full speed, refer to point 1.
6. Don't see the point of you including this scan. If this was Haku using Taijutsu instead of Lee, same result. Lee was a whole point above Sasuke in terms of speed in the Databook, Haku and Lee are equals.
