Those exclamation marks do not prove anything. Why do you people blow them out of proportions? Gai had no hopes of blitzing Madara. In fact, Rinnegan Madara - as Rinnegan has no pre-Cog ability - moved back and blocked all his attacks. When he tried Afternoon Tiger he was blown back easily. Not sure how anything Gai did had any value whatsoever.

Gai is not at V2 Ae's or even faster than V1 - it's preposterous. The guy's reflexes are at 'Flashes of Light' level, Minato had to resort to FTG to dodge his V2 Speed. Now unless Gai moves faster than Teleportation or is anywhere near it, he takes Ae. Otherwise, no.

You're forgetting that he went up against JM Madara, the fastest shinobi as of right now, who was able to land 3 hits on Minato even after using FTG, and his striking speed was quick enough to the point where Minato couldn't even escape out with FTG, and that only requires a thought process [

And you took that statement made by Shee literally? If that was the case then he wouldn't have gotten outdone by Minato, since with those reactions he would have easily reacted to Minato's striking speed (which JM Madara casually did).

Itachi was fighting toe-to-toe with Bee AND KCM Naruto without breaking a sweat. Bee is that guy who reacted to FTG twice and intercepted and punched V2 Ae back. Sasuke reacting fast to get on his feet is also an effective Taijutsu maneuver as well. I don't see any point here.

Bee reacted to FTG Minato twice. Not really an out of the world feat, given that Madara reacted to 'Speed of Light' teleportation of Tsunade and Ae as well, when Muu got smashed into the wall - the same Guy who evaded KCM Naruto's attack from behind just fine. Madara was not using SM or EMS then. The manga has established that characters with good reflexes can easily react to Minato's FTG.

Minato's SM definitely wouldn't have allowed him much, given the fact that he teleporated. Threat Perception is a gradual form of alertness given by movement changes when the opponent is already in sight - proven through Naruto's SM usage and the fact that no one can sense anything unless they're not seeing anything.

I have to, as the guy eludes sight, literally, in V2. Minato barely saw an electrical discharge on the ground, he couldn't even see Ae himself, not until he was up in his face. I can judge which statement is metaphoric and which isn't. It's not that hard to tell. When his reaction rates match Ae, then you people can claim he is superior in this category even, let alone speed. As for outdoing, then Ae doesn't have eyes at the back of his head. Minato landed from above. How can you expect any person to see that when they are running at high-speed in forward direction?

Minato never beat Ae.

Ay wins this. Gai doesn't have a single offensive feat that is capable of hurting Ay, since even Kisame withstood Hirudora. Ay's speed would allow him to shunshin outside of point blank range anyway, lessening it's damage even more. On top of that, Ay only needs a single hit to win.
