You and the rest of NB might have spent a month on "Who's that foot" but as soon as that foot appeared I guessed Kabuto and was done with it.
Idk what manga you've been reading but Naruto has supplied long-awaited character development with Obito, the reunification of their sharingan, and great Madara action, Kamui development, among other things. Naruto manga has been nice and plentiful with material lately, especially when compared to this week's FT chapter.
On that Gai note, why do you see a power scale of epic proportions as something bad? The grander scale that Naruto's action is on far surpasses FT's. Gai isn't a "nobody", that powerup has been foreshadowed since before FT even started lmao! Too funny
OT: As for who's soul that is that Majin Buu is using, Hades is obviously the best guess but that would be a little lame. I guess we'll find out next week. A cool option would be if it were Igneel's soul or something like that... but there are a bunch of reasons why that wouldn't work.
nah everyone who is reading Naruto decently came up with Kabuto but Kishi trolled us with Karin not recognizing him, that was such a lame excuse, even when I though it was Kabuto I was disappointed because ever since the flashback I can't stand the guy but than Kishi lifts my hopes up and than trolls me hard
I've been reading Naruto ... for the past 8 years ... Obito was kinda interested but than destroyed completely, Obito literally ruined half a year of Naruto for many, many fans, Madara action is great but the power scaling is out of whack and makes my fav characters irrelevant, I remember being hyped for Jiraiya fighting, and Pain, and Itachi ... but they are now ALL irrelevant sine Madara makes them fodder
as for material, actually the Naruto manga is moving so slowly it's ridiculous, it would be completely ok if many things were actually happening but the story is very linear, the 2 main characters have been ''dead'' for months lol and the war in general could have the same amount of content as it does and last like 2 years, though I will admit I like the war arc in general (other than the KinGin filler, Kabuto flashback catastrophe and the Obito lameness)
the character development in Naruto is way too focused on 2 characters and makes everyone else borderline un-important
the one thing I agree with is the
bold and I even said that I think Naruto overall is quite superior to FT, and that's why. Yes it has been forshadowed and I couldn't wait for years but the decision to unleash it against Madara is wrong imo, Edo Madara fodderized the 5 Kage, than he powered up drastically when he was revived and fodderized pretty much the entire alliance and than he powered up again with the freakin' Bijuu, noone could touch him before and now ... if Gai actually is able to do something I call major bullsh?t
and now to FT, yes it has many major flaws but in most aspects it doesn't really fall behind Naruto except one of the two most important things (imo) which is the overall plot (which is much better in Naruto) and it also falls behind in power scaling, but as I said Gai being able to fight Madara would be worse than anything that ever happened in FT
FT isn't a quality manga but it is enjoyable, on the other hand Naruto is somewhat a quality manga but in the last half a year Kishi has failed spectacularly to make is consistently enjoyable, I also expect more from Naruto than FT as Naruto is more story driven, with FT it's more my fondness for the funnys and for the characters (and the anime music

).
Unlike most ppl up here I don't really have an isue with either Naruto or FT to not be realistic irl terms, I think to expect that from a manga is just weird, that automatically limits a story and it loses a lot of it's ''magic'' and fantasy, a manga should have a creative world that you can experience and applying rl logic imo is just weird, so this is ok for both manga
as for the big issue on FT ... the nakama powerups, to be honest Naruto has those too but not as extreme, but imo TnJ is just as bad
so yea in comparison I don't think Naruto is that much better than FT in most things except the overall story which is clearly superior, but even so Naruto's overall story is still much inferior to many other manga
