Well, I managed to crack the left side of my laptop, and now I'm stuck with this awkward back blob with blackish-purple legs on my laptop...

I think, actually, I'm about 99% sure that the crack is in the plastic(since i can't feel the long, protruding crack)

Does anyone know a cheap way to replace a screen for less than $100

by a laptop that's broken that's the same model as yours and switch the screens. Honestly if you have a blob you probably damaged the more than just the plastic on the screen.

Get a hdmi cable or a audio/visual cable ( around 30-40 £) if your laptop doesn't support hdmi and plug it into another monitor device. Very simple and useful to do even if your screen isn't broken.
