He said he can't keep it on for long and that it needs time to enter it. Both of those can be done by Kurama.

Kuruma did not gather it for him naruto still gathered it the difference is it was much more efficient and easier to absorb in that mode.

Minato's fights when not against godly beings have all ended in pretty much an instant.. it just doesnt match his style of fighting.. its likely that minato only used it in instants when he needed the extra firepower.. such as against madara..

Kurama never gathered sage energy for naruto, naruto did himself......minato can't enter SM instantly like hashirama and naruto....it takes much more time, also it doesn't last long ( minato's chakra level must be pretty low compared to that of naruto )

As I remember, Ma and Pa fuse with the summoner specifically for that reason, to gather nature energy for the summoner, and prolong the summoner's sage mode.


And Oh wait Kishi, isn't that the perfect solution to Minato's problems, need time to gather Nature Energy? Ma and Pa got that covered.



Doesn't last long? Ma and Pa got it.

It didnt work quite like that. Kurama never gathered any energy for naruto.

Naruto did that all himself. However being In BM, he was able to absorb natural energy much faster than in a human mode.

As for why minato never tried that, it probably just didnt occur, AND minato didnt have much experiance with SM.

He had naruto to provide the sage energy. He just didnt have any real reason to risk useing it himself(as he was a support in the fight...not a main fighter)
