Actually no, it was the Juubi giving him insane amounts of chakra to the point it gave him insane speed and reflexes as the Kyuubi did to Naruto only on a higher scale.

And the sharingan cannot follow FTG as it is instant first off, secondly the mark uses no chakra as it is a Fuuinjutsu. FTG only uses chakra when it is used and it is instant.

First and for most:
It is a manga fact that the Edo Hokages were not brought back in there prime state (OR there actual Strength). Therefore no matter how you look at it, all this time the hokages have been fighting in a weaker state.

Second:
Obito not only has the sharingun with renningun (SORRY FOR SPELLING) but he also has Senji DNA. Which is a manga fact - to boost up physical attributes.

Third:
Madara also Not only has sharingun with renningun but aslo senji DNA (His got the 1st hokages face as his boobs for goodness sake). not only that, HE was also brought back in full power Unlike the hokages.

Forth:
DID you not see the physical changes that happened too both Madara and Obito!!! That there should be proof that Physical attributes should have/would have changed and gotten better. Also if you can recall, when obito first changed and become one with jubito, the first hokage stated that Obito is now stringer then him.

Summery:
