Itachi wins with low-mid difficulty.
So apparently, I get it wrong? There's nothing to get wrong. A's attack clearly broke through Susano'o, and that wasn't even his strongest attack, not to mention he had to get past Amaterasu first.

Minimized versions of Sand Burial were crushing human bones when Gaara was twelve. I have reason to believe that he can crack Ribcage, or at least restrain it so he can drag Itachi out and proceed to crush him.
Yes you are wrong, Look at this.
''The user wraps their body in a layer of lightning chakra that, instead of being used offensively, is used to electrically stimulate the user's nervous system. The technique speeds up neural synapses to react faster, and to push physical prowess to the absolute limit''
Raikage is already strong himself and Raiton no Yoroi boost that power even more, and why do you keep mentioning Amaterasu, because from what I know raikage lost his arm due to the same amaterasu he was able to ''break''
The power of raikage's attack are FAR above Gaara's sand crushing which Ribcage Susano'o was able to tank.
Raikage used Raigā Bomu on of his strongest attack's and Sasuke was still able to block it with ribcage susano, gaara isn't crushing Itachi, if Madara with v2 susano was comfortably able to dash out of 1 of gaara's strongest seals
@Bold: Thank you for proving my point.
This same 'peak of physical prowess' wasYou must be registered for see linksby a small sheet of Gaara's sand. This same sand is strong enough to constrict Susano'o to the point of cracking, by which point Itachi can either be dragged out of Susano'o, his Susano'o can be finished with a Sand Burial, or Gaara can simply wait for Itachi's chakra to run out.
That sand was under Amaterasu which was under Ribcage Susano'o
three layers to block the Kick, the Sand was only there to protect Raikage from burning himself
which should be really obvious, and as I said that sand isn't constricting Susano'o since it didn't work
On a v2 Susano'o from Madara.
That sand can easily be destroyed with Yasaka Magata as showed right here. [You must be registered for see links]
Under? Unless you literally have the scan upside down, you either can't be serious, or you need glasses. It didn't take three layers to take the kick, he literally didn't even make it past the first.
And he can be 'constricted' long enough to be dragged out of Susano'o.

As you can see enton nearly touched A's feet, Gaara used the sand to block the enton, but A's feet landed on tree layers
- Sand.
- Enton.
- Susano'o ribcage.
And thus completely blocking the attack.
And tell me how Gaara can constrict Susanoó and pull him out without onohki being there ?
Because from what I can remember he said this [You must be registered for see links]
the sand was light so that made him more powerfull. without Ohnoki there he can't do that.

This, IMO. Flight counters Susano'o techs, he can literally drag Itachi out of Susano'o, his attacks strike from all around so Yata isn't doing shit. Amaterasu is countered by sand.
Itachi takes this mid difference at the very worse. Gaara's sand has no speed feats to avoid Amaterasu Spawn on him or any of Itachi's Genjutsu. These two techniques alone are game-changers here.
No he cannot. Gaara cannot drag anyone outside Susano'o with Onoki lightening his sand AND the Sand in the surrounding area.

@Bold: Doesn't make much sense.
Aside from Tsukuyomi, which genjutsu can't Gaara counter? Crow Genjutsu is countered by Suna Arare if it's even possible for it to go long range, Sharingan Genjutsu is all but useless at long ranges in this battle especially what with Itachi's already shitty eyesight, and I have reason to believe that Sand Armor can potentially shed off Amaterasu's impact.

As we've seen before, Amaterasu takes time to completely burn through objects [You must be registered for see links-(7 panels later)-You must be registered for see links]. The Samurai's armor was never completely burned through. Given the range of the rest of the techniques he'll have to use in this battle, Itachi will have about one Amaterasu to spare; once this is shed off by the Sand Armor, he'll beYou must be registered for see links.
Just because that's what happened versus Madara doesn't mean he's required to have his sand lightened. Madara was an Edo, had unlimited chakra and a huge stamina boost. Versus Itachi's, who's already compromising a good deal of his mobility in Susano'o form, assuming he's suitably restrained viaYou must be registered for see links, there's no reason that he shouldn't be able to drag Itachi out.
Itachi's eye-sight was affected because he was near death. His crow clones can use any of his Genjutsu as well. As for pulling Madara out of sand, then the fact that he couldn't without Onoki's help renders your opinion a speculation. There is nothing to prove otherwise.
^ What you are suggesting is nothing but speculation. Gaara couldn't touch Madara before and yet, after getting his Sand Lightened, he could pull him out? You have nothing to support your claim.
I highly doubt Itachi would go blind in a single fight. I am well-aware of MS's repercussions.
^ That 'the absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence' logic is not going to work with me. Bring out proof, or you have nothing. Even at that terrible eye-sight, Itachi still used Genjutsu at start, Tsukuymoi, A large scaled Amaterasu sweep that engulfed the whole surrounding trees, maintained V4 Susano'o for quite a while. All Itachi needs is one genjutsu and logically, we both know how this would end.
^ Gaara is not that fast, given how Deidara easily eluded him. As I mentioned, at the on-set of battle, Gaara is hardly a speedster to increase the distance significantly between himself and Itachi. As Soon as he looks at the eyes, he's done for. Gaara has shown - at the most - to fight using his third eye. Considering he won't even be able to pull it soon, or, let's suppose, outlandishly for argument's sake he does at the start, do you really believe his Third Eye would elude genjutsu as he sees through it? Or his sand is quick enough to cover him before Amaterasu Spawns right on his face, as he cannot sense any build-up, or is not a sensor, period?
Itachi can potentially end the battle right off the bat with these two powerful Doujutsus. Agree with it or not, is entirely up to you, as Gaara literally has nothing to offer in terms of speed or sensing - or lack there of - to shore up his defenses to even elude these. Itachi wins decisively at the very start with either of these two. This is my final post, as it would never come to Sand Tsunami or the like, I am afraid.
