Indeed. She lacks the ''insane'' part which makes her a bad example of a Yandere, in other words; Not the best Yandere really. However she still is one. Yanderes aren't neccessary insane. That's just the more extreme version of a Yandere. Kotonoha isn't that insane herself either. Yandere is a chick acts sweet and nice to the person she likes (Eren in this case) and literally tears apart anything or anyone trying to harm that person (Mikasa herself even tried to tear apart Levi when he kicked Eren, but was stopped).

The correct description of a Yandere is; Sweet on the outside, tough on the inside.

Mikasa literally tears apart everyone who tries to touch Eren, but then acts nice and sweet to Eren. She's a bit of a Yandere.

There's only a few lives she can care about & that was already decided six years ago

@Punk: Like Nui from kill la kill is the prefect example of a yandere, she's acts just like one. That's not mikasa or konan.

She's not sweet on the outside, she's just nicer to Eren. But she doesn't show that yandere sweetness. She more of a Kundere in my opinion. She just doesn't fit the yandere, if she does she's a really really badly done one.

I'll bet you 100 bucks that if it was Armin in that situation, he would just fall to the ground being sad about Reiner and Berthold betraying them.

Mikasa, however, is willing to kill anyone if they harm Eren, that fits the yandere description perfectly.

As you stated, kuuderes only rarely show their emotions, and they don't really care if anyone around them dies. Mikasa is very open towards Eren, but not as open to other people, and she doesn't want him to die at all.

He's her brother, for god's sake. When Eren "died", Mikasa helped Armin get his shit right and protected him. Kuuderes only care for the ones they love and trust. In AOT, just because they are forced to kill the titans without mercy, that doesn't make them psyhotic like yanderes. Mikasa doesn't show her care if someone dies. She cares, of course, but doesn't show it. Protecting Eren by all costs was a promise made to his mother while she was dying, she has to do it. That doesn't make her crazy about Eren or Yandere ._.

Except for the fact that she would probably literally rip apart anyone's throat if he or she tries to take away you from her or hurt you, Yanderes are perfect. lol

A Yandere acts sweet if needed, but she's only truly sweet to the person she likes. Mikasa is nice to Eren. Nice to the person she likes, tears apart anyone who tries to hurt that person. Mikasa fits the description of a Yandere. It just seems unlikely to you because she isn't a perfect Yandere due to lacking a completely insane part of herself.
