Naruto due to having huge chakra reserves is able to refresh his sage mode via clones, which was an original idea by Naruto.

I could be wrong about this for sure, but I think it's more along the lines that after sharing chakra with naruto and confronting the ten tails and it's jins (massive nature energy radiation here) he managed--as a genius--to absorb a small amount of nature energy and release it in his rasengan.

Look, I understand you are a fan of Minato, thats cool, hes was a great ninja in his prime (basically everything we've seen of him is his prime since he died young) but Naruto has surpassed him with Kyuubi mode, the third Raikage even said so himself when he fought Naruto when he was trying top stop him from entering the fight against Obito.

Please don't refute manga facts, it is silly.

Naruto only made clones because he couldn't fuse with ma and pa. Outside of that, shadow clones to refresh sm is useless You can already get a permanent sm( as long as your chakra lasts) by fusing with ma and pa because you constantly take in energy. Naruto couldn't do that which warranted the clones.

Furthermore, naruto needs to take out a scroll and reverse summon the clone then dispel it. It'd be easier to just meditate instead of doing all that shit.
