How is minato SM an asspull?

People who say that minato having SM is an asspull really need to think, most of them are prob itachi fanboys who are seething at the fact minato has shown another feat that proves minato>itachi.

There a lot of things that have happened in this manga that can be considered an asspull that no one complains about yet people wana hate on minato.

Examples

Sasuke being able to use PS in a matter of minutes
Madara using susanoo with no eyes
Sakura suddenly using the yin seal
Hiruzen usin all 5 elements when only someone with the rinnegan should be able to do that (kakuzu stole peoples hearts)
Kakashi and Obito spamming the shit out of kamui yet have not lost their eyesight
And there's prob more.

Asspulls are when people do something out of the blue when it has not been hinted that they could do before. It has clearly been hinted that there was a possibility that minato could use SM.

Why didn't Minato use it before?

Like some people already said, minato prob cannot use KCM/BM and SM at the same time. Even naruto only just recently managed to combine both. As to why we didn't see him use it before he died. Considering his fighting style, im not surprised. His abilities are based on speed meaning his fights usually ended quickly. His moniker 'Yellow Flash' states be could take people out before thay could react, SM was not needed.

i completely agree. also minato had the frog summonings and was jirayas pupil. the only asspull about his SM imo is the fact that its a perfect SM and not an incomplete one....which it should be^^ but i guess minato was too badass and pretty to be turned into a frog lol

If he had it he shouldn't have worded it like that.

I think he could use it before but not to Naruto's extent. 1st you need mass chakra, and control over nature chakra. He seems to be able to control it but what he probably lacked before was mass chakra. Now that he is an Edo it makes it easier. Also he probably didn't use it before was because ftg probably takes some effort to use too, so he would have to focus on both technique. The only people who has touch Minato are Jubbi user. I think his speed might have been delayed too because of SM, even if madaras speed has skyrocketed, Minato should have still been able to dodge the slash and kicks. Even Kakashi caught a glimpse of what was happening.

^ we need more Hiruzen!!! I still theorize that Orochimaru is afraid of the third in his prime, thus he was brought back in old age. I think Orochimaru can reverse it so that we get to see the HYPE!!!

I don't disagree but I would say minato's SM was a bit sudden, not an asspull. He prob said it like that coz jiraiya was the 1st one he saw using it

Explain how madara can use susanoo without his eyes
At the time sakura and sasuke powerups were asspulls coz sasuke has recently gained the ems yet it he can already do what madara can. Sakura yin seal literally came out of no where as she has had plenty of opportunities to use it before (pain arc)

All hype, has not shown feats that support the hype. Hashirama and Minato defo surpass him. Tobirama debatable. He prob beats tsunade. The person who said all that can easily hype up hiruzen without actually seeing what Hashirama and Minato could do.

And maybe you can't consider his SM an asspull, but what about his ability to use it without gathering any nature chakra. Naruto usually has to sit and gather nature chakra (with the exception of when he's in BM), but Minato just switched it on like it was Sharingan

I explained that he cannot combine KCM/BM with SM like naruto can. As for gathering natural energy I guess his skill is pretty good. He was stood still for a while and remember jiraiya only had to keep his hands still to go sage mode.

It's called turning KCM/BM off and then you can use SM. Why didn't he do that?
