Who thinks part 1 sasuke could have beaten part 1 gaara?

Gaara stomps neg dif as we saw in the manga when they fought out of chuunin exams rules.

Early Shippuden Sasuke vs part 1 Gaara is more fair.

Could you provide the scan of Gaara attempting to transform during the time he received that injury. Seriously. I don't remember this so I am just asking. If you know the chapter please let me know so I can refresh on this.

OT: I like Gaara better than I like Sasuke, still...As far as the Chunnin round went. Sasuke won it. I don't think Gaara's sensei at the time would have let him transform there in the ring if The seige hadn't begun. But yeah once Gaara entered beast mode....well....IMO Sasuke could have won this if not for his Curse Mark's side effects kicking in.

He was paralyzed from it and couldn't move. So from then on it was Gaara's show. Still though. Once Gaara goes to sleep and Shukaku takes over, Sasuke looses for the following reasons:

1.) No 3 tome so Sasuke wouldn't be subduing Shukaku with his Sharingan
2.) Paralyzed from overuse of the Curse Mark
3.) No summoning at the time So nothing large scale enough to really keep Shukaku at bay.

Ultimately, in tangent with the missed opportunity of victory due to overuse of the curse mark. Sasuke still looses. He just wasn't ready to deal with a jinchuriki at that time.

Ah, that's the answer I looking for. I knew 2 was his limit but I vaguely remembered him pulling off a third. I forgot about the curse mark for a minute.

All you can do is speculate, I can easily say that as a result of his mental breakdown, if Sasuke had came at him, he would have reacted and lashed out, causing his transformation to progress alot faster, they ran off with Gaara because they were trying to prevent that. The moment Sasuke caught up, he was not prepared for the assbeating he would recive.

thats what i thought.

Sasuke stopped gaara from transforming and wounded him for the first time in his life

which caused him to breakdown

to speculate and think that gaara would remain unrattled or not shaken up is laughble.

From the time he dropped his sand and from the time kankor and temari came to resuce him

he was still in the same position.

accept it

sasuke beat gaara in there first fight, where he stopped him before he could tranform w/o curse mark

CE Sasuke would have killed Gaara.

He only managed to transform in to Shukaku because Temari/Kankuro bought him some time to recuperate. This isn't even an argument yet it's 3 pages long LMAO.

If Gaara uses Shukaku, he stomps. SRA Gaara also wins comfortably. Sasuke beats CE Gaara if he doesn't use Shukaku.

This thread is referring to Sasuke fighting Gaara at the chuunin exams w/o Orochimaru's invasion interrupting the fight.
