[Discussion] Minato sage mode explained

I saw lot of ppl accepting this sage minato like as if it was long time coming or something, which is wrong.


If he could do it himself, he wouldn't have asked Naruto to inject his rasengan with sage chakra against jubito. And before anyone says mianto couldn't do it because the yin fox wouldn't allow it, remember when the Yin fox wanted to help Naruto by helping minato. THIS is fact.

And he didn't use it when he faught tobi which killed himself and kushina and almost Naruto. If had it at all he would have used everything he's got to save kushina and Naruto not to mention himself.

So this is either chakra still injected by Naruto or an aspull by kishi which lowers the manga's standards a lot.

Also this foreshadow stuff from Naruto vs nagato is misunderstood. Naruto did a fast attack with a rasengan while in sage mode and destroyed one of the pain bodies. The sage mode was tribute to jiraiya and his timing/speed with the rasengan was a tribute to minato.

Pa frog MADE NO mention of minato when Naruto trained only talked about how well jiraiya managed to do with toad sage mode. This wasn't to stop us from finding out that Minato was his father as Pa frog could have simply referred to Minato as the "forth hokage" and neither Naruto or us would know Minato is his father.

alive Minato cannot go sage mode nor did he have it. He didn't use it ever. alive Minato couldn't go KCM either.

Edo Minato can go sage mode because his body can handle it now. Living Minato's body couldn't handle sage mode (like Orochimaru)

Living Minato probably trained and attempted to use sage mode with Jiraiya , but he couldn't do it.
He remembered the teachings and now he has a body strong enough to handle it (an edo body) so now he can do it.

im not saying minato did know about sage mode or anything but a possiblity to your question is pa frog might mistakenly tell naruto that Minato is his father..because as far as i know naruto havent learned that minato was his dad when he was training for sage mode..

whats wrong with you all chill out lol We know Minato knew about Sage Mode because when Naruto first went sage mode against Obito the Juubi's Jinchuriki, Minato called it Jiraiya's jutsu and he was surprised that Naruto had the same power as Jiraiya. That means Minato knew about it before he died and he probably couldn't use it himself back then. He has had plenty time as an edo in this battle to practice if his current body can handle it. After all, Hiruzen and Minato were upgraded beyond what they were when they died however Tobirama and Hashirama were not at the same power they had during life.

Don't know why y'all biting yourselves, you waiting for kishi to show when naruto gave out his sage chakara in the previous episodes when they were up against Tobito??? I think were passed that.. His sons sage chakara's still in him, plus he's and Edo. If you have come this far, you should know that stuffs like this is normal in Naruto. That's all i got to say.

The reason Pa frog didn't mention Minato, when Naruto was training to become a sage was because Kishi hadn't revealed that he was Naruto's father yet and it would have pretty much spoiled it...

Sasuke's hawk was less of an asspull. At least Kishi foreshadowed it with manga covers. To put it simply, absorbing NE which is supposed to be untraceable to those inexperienced with it and balancing it with your physical and spiritual energies is a near impossible feat. I can accept that kind of thing with Madara because he is FV, has perfected Hashi cells, and has experienced the techniques when going against Hashi, but Minato's was an asspull no matter how u try to phrase it.

And why the heck would Minato describe it as Jiraiya's jutsu if he Minato knew it too???

These a very extreme reaction. It is far from fubar'd. This can be easily retconned but only if Kishi thinks it's worth doing. Hopefully he will. But until he does it's certainly an ass pull, but not a huge deal.
