Minato has never been shown to sense on the kind of level of SM Madara, Tobirama, Karin, or Rikudobito. Don't give him false sensing feats. You are better than this.
Not everything needs to be written to be accepted as a fact. Some things could be rationally deducted. I already posted a picture that makes believe he is capable to replicate the feat. Now i just hope that just like the doubters about Minato's existing sensing ability, Kishi ones again shows this obvious capacity for me. Maybe after that, there would be no arguments anymore concerning this thread

Nope. A voluntary reflex cannot save Minato from something such as Tsukuyomi or Dusk crow if eye contact is established, it it's a counter to his Genjutsu.

Hasty Generalization.

Minato as a character knows nothing about the bold so yes, you postulating counters on his behalf would only be valid if he had some conceptulaization of Itachi's caliber of Genjutsu.

Obviously because they have either had no experience fighting the Uchiha or their fighting style depends on having visual with the opponent or that anticipating techniques [amaterasu] would require them to make eye contact either entirely or momentarily. Sides Ay and Bee, the individuals Minato faced in the 3rd Shinobi war could be considered fodder and should not even be used for an argument.

Or perhaps it did not cross your mind that there's a reason why he was looking at the eyes like he knows that Tobi's body is in another dimension and can't do him harm...geezz

Am I arguing that Minato can break tsukuyomi?lol What I'm saying is that tsukuyomi is short range. If they are fighting outside tsukuyomi's distance then no tsukuyomi. Dusk crow? naruto was able to notice it. why can't Minato?

Calling A and B a fodder is too much don't you think?

It won't change the fact of what Itachi's genjutsu can do. If someone countered it, then it can be countered. No need to argue on that. If it was shown that a clone can counter it then a clone can. Why are you sticking to this caliber of genjutsu? No matter how good he is, if his genjutsu is limited to that, then we will end it that way..

You don't have to look into the eyes of your opponent when fighting. If you have been in actual combat then you know what I mean.

You're forgetting the part that Itachi had Konoha's best interest at heart and never intended to kill anyone he ever fought from there....

true, another reason Minato ran towards obito was to allow obito to get close to him and then use the opportunity when obito is tangible to attack

Being in a Genjutsu would debilitate Minato, I would imagine, so its likely Minato can't use Hiraishin.

Regardless of what I've mentioned, you're drastically underrating the effectiveness of a Genjutsu from the Mangekyou Sharingan. To put in perspective, notice the right before he activates the Genjutsu. Danzo only slightly manages to avoid being stabbed by Sasuke after figuring out he was in a Genjutsu. [ ] But, notice what Danzo says the page after: [ ] "That's nothing compared to Itachi's Tsukuyomi, which could control the length of the illusion." The scan is kinda hard to interpret. Now lets infer from three logically based conclusions:

1. Danzo has a Sharingon. His resistance against Genjutsu and his ability to see through a Genjutsu are far above Minato's ability to do so.
2. Itachi's Genjutsu prowess dwarfs that of Sasuke's.
3. The Tsukuyomi that Sasuke used is a weaker version, but it is still comparable to that of Itachi's version in things such as the distance that is required for the technique.

The fact that Minato would have to resort to not making eye contact with Itachi means the margin of error is even greater. The possibility for Minato to slip are increased; thus, a CQC confrontation with Itachi would prove to be disastrous because of Itachi's Shunshin speed and hand movements.

I can see the problems from such an argument, but its what I believe.

The scene where Sasuke catches Danzo with Tsukuyomi: [ - - - -

Avoiding eye contact [ ]

That's not a good instance of him avoiding eye contact. For one, there's not really a reason as to why he is, and making eye contact from that angle is unnecessary.

FTG does not need body movement. Itachi's genjutsu mostly affects movement as shown in the OP.

The Tsukuyomi that Sasuke used is a weaker version, but it is still comparable to that of Itachi's version in things such as the distance that is required for the technique

So what if Itachi's tsukuyomi is stronger than that of Sasuke? It won't change the fact that he can't cast it long range. You are neglecting also the fact that Minato can use bunshin. The point you have to consider is how exactly he can use Tsukuyomi against Minato.

Here are scans showing Itachi using Tsukuyomi. I want you to observe it properly.

Against Kakashi:

Against Sasuke:

What did you observe? Right! Closing his eyes to change from a 3T to MS. Can someone really do an eye to eye if the other person is moving at super fast speed? No feats made by Itachi suggesting that he can cast tsukuyomi at long range.

Thanks for the read.

You're welcome

Minato never created clones while he was alive. this goes to show that he can't create them unless he had Kyuubi mode. Since we going off feats :)

Further more if FTG is so anti genjutsu and OP as you claim... Why don't tobirama and Minato just wait for Madara to cast infinite tsukyomi then attack madara? Oh right because they wouldn't be able to due to Tsukyomi being OP

what a statement you got. now, creating a mere bunshin requires lot of chakra. according to you, shadow clones requires more chakra than summoning bunta..hahaha! Looks like you don't know what infinite tsukuyomi is..reread manga

Until this point, Itachi fans believes that a genjutsu by their beloved Itachi can one shot Minato. If we'll look back at those genjutsus used by Itachi so far then we'll come with 6 genjutsu techniques shown so far. Let's examine 1 by 1 what genjutsu is capable of defeating Minato.

1. Demonic Illusion: Burning Paper Body! This genjutsu requires the Sharingan and eye contact to be activated. The illusion traps the victim in a dark empty space where their body is made of paper that burns from toe to head while the user is watching. The technique will make it harder for the target to move properly.

The scan above shows how Itachi uses Demonic Illusion. This genjutsu clearly affects body movement. What 1 must do to counter this? The scan below shows Kakashi escaping via a shadow clone. We all know Minato can use shadow clone and of course FTG can be used as well since the technique only affects body movement and FTG does not require body movement at all.

2. Demonic Illusion: Mirror Heaven and Earth . The user decrypts a genjutsu that has been applied onto them and casts back a technique with identical effects onto the opponent. This is an illusion reversal so this is not needed.

3. Demonic Illusion: Shackling Stakes! This technique requires the use of the Sharingan and direct eye contact. The opponent is caught in the illusionary world created by the user, and the victim will be tormented with the sensation of having spikes driven through their limbs, taking away their body's freedom. What does this tech affects? Movement!

The scan above shows that Oro was caught by the genjutsu but if you notice how he knows that he was caught in it and he even tried to move to escape it. We all know that Minato's way of escaping a hit is by the use of FTG. FTG does not require hand seals or movement. Minato can activate it in a flash. He was able to activate FTG cm away from A's punch. Again, most of these genjutsu by Itachi is short range.

4. Ephemeral! Itachi will start this technique by using only one finger on his right hand. His target does not have to look into his eyes, a glance at the hand itself will be enough. Once inside the illusion, he can control the visions the ninja sees. One of the famouse genjutsu used by Itachi fans..lol

You must be registered for see images

The above scan shows that Naruto was trapped in a genjutsu but noticed how Naruto was able to figure out that he was trap in a genjutsu. It simply shows that Naruto is in his state of mind. Will this work against Minato who can teleport from one place to another without even moving? lol NO!

5. Dusk Crow Genjutsu. This genjutsu can trap a victim in an illusion with no eye contact, similar to Ephemeral. It was derived from ephemeral as it's parent jutsu. Notice how Itachi uses handseal to perform this tech. Again, this tech affects the vision and not the mind. Is his speed upon making a handseal fast enough against Minato who can speed blitz even a distance of 100m?

Also this scan below shows why a shadow clone is needed. Even those outside Konoha knows what method to use against a sharingan user. It's foolish to say that Minato will not attempt to use bunshin knowing that his opponent is an Uchiha.

You must be registered for see images

6. Tsukuyomi! The mighty tsukuyomi that Itachi fans are so proud of yet they fail to analyze 1 thing. This genjutsu is short range. I bet not even 1 Itachi fan can tell me what distance tsukuyomi can be used effectively because all of those battle where Itchi is using tsukuyomi, it clearly shows that he should be near his target. Even the scan shows that he needed to change from ordinary to MS sharingan to use it. Changing it takes time.

You must be registered for see images
You must be registered for see images

Even Kakashi had time to warn the others and he knows what Itachi is planning. Saying that Minato a Hokage does not know about this technique is plainly stupid. How did Kakashi knows about tsukuyomi? That was the first time he encounters an MS tech. Do you think Kakashi is more knowledgeable than Minato in terms of this? Let me remind everyone once again that tsukuyomi is a short range tech. Short range means speed blitz gg!

For minor genjutsus, someone like Minato who can adapt to another person's specific chakra type can easily counter it. It was even explained by Jiraiya how to counter it.

You must be registered for see images

Conclusion: Most genjutsu by Itachi affects movement. This is all supported my manga scans. We all know that FTG can be used without body movement. In short, a genjutsu that affects movement is useless against Minato. He can easily escape it. Only tsukuyomi is the real threat here but this tsukuyomi is overrated by Itachi fans. They think that Itachi can use it effectively without considering the distance. Short range fight against Minato is speed blitz gg U_U

This is nice and all but i believe you went about it the wrong way now that people can't deny anymore Minato is a sensor

You must be registered for see images

Sensors are capable to sense chakra build inside the body(like you can see above with Minato as well)

You must be registered for see images

It helps to prevent even occular attacks

Also, even in case you're caught inside a genjutsu(outside tsukuyomi of course) a sensor can identify it directly by noticing the disturbance in the flow. It works for every genjutsu since even Shisui's KA was detected by Ao

Very nice guys. Minato has no fear of Genjutsus

By feats he's already defeated the Greatest Genjutsu User the manga has ever seen i.e. Uchiha Obito! Nothing more needs to be said as Itachi is of lower rank Genjutsu user or a Shinobi in all aspects compared to his master Obito!

considering your feat argument is 1 sided I figure I would play into your own game... Also that was a terrible example. Considering Sakura can summon Katsuya yet never used Shadow clone.

you say Itachi not fast enough to handle shadow clones yet based on feats Minato would have trouble with ITachi clones.

1) Itachi clones can explode causing major damage

2) Itachi can create clones and Minato would not even detect them

good job man and bogard too....! those scans tell us why obito didn't even try genjutsu against minato and also coupled with the fact that it is difficult to track his movements with even sharingan, i see no way of him getting defeated by genjutsu....!
but this doesn't mean itachi suddenly became fodder....! itachi's best weapon is not genjutsu, it's analytic ability of his and his intelligence...! these itachi fans are the reason i started disliking itachi but i'm back on track....! itachi and minato are very unique shinobi's like no other....! they seem to have almost no weakness and that's why no fan feels that they can be defeated....! but minato is a hokage and a very strong and versatile hokage, itachi can't defeat him...! but will put up a very decent fight...!

No you're dead wrong. Itachi shit stomps rofl copter to the next dimension. So what Minato is hogake, Itachi had a hokage mindset at age 7. Minato was like 19 competing with ORochimaru for hokage seat who didn't even really want it. Itachi defeated this nub when he was 11??What could Minato at 11 do to ORochimaru. Minato is nothing to ITachi.

Itachi was in Akatsuki at 13 who most are basically as strong as kages and the leader was scared of him as well. So what does his hokageship have to do with anything other than they took two different paths.
